it might sound dumb... but here goes the question:- did you sketch the Medusa using Wacom or traditional pencil then scan it? by the way, your sketches and pencil strokes (if they are pencil strokes) are very fluid. thanks for sharing!

    your lines are purely amazing!

i need to work on mine desperately.
could you maybe share some knowledge on line weight, flow, etc?
are your lines just naturally like that or do you pay attention to
    specific things while you draw?
    thanks in advance.

    Okay some boring character designs

chiodo, about the line my setup is pretty much defualt brush I turn on shape dynamics and other dynamics, I usually start with 20% oppacity and then use 50% or even 80% to draw on top of it, I never remove the draft lines, maybe just erase a bit, hopefully that helps

    Nigh7shad3, thank you

    Chuck,mate. thank you

zenichi, I use wacom to do that picture, I haven't worked a lot with pencil I just use it for my real sketch book

Looking good...I dunno if these people are cavemen or africans...but if so, then the brow prominence for blacks aren't as pronounced in the profile or front shit, and the noses generally aren't that wide. You've pushed the eyes completely out of the picture for the most part. Things look good though, lines and design are original in my opinion.

Stark, thanks man you always have some good critique to me, I agree the facial anatomy is not good enough, because it is my first time to draw some australian aborigional people, keep kicking my ass man I like it

Cwn Annwn, thank you you know it is Assie I am very happy about that, for that reason I will show you more

Good to see more! Yes of course I recognise them, I don't see anything wrong with the facial design. They definitely look aboriginal, which is completely different from the faces of African descended peoples.

Only thing is I think you aren't as confident drawing aboriginal faces, so it's the flow that suffers. No problem there - you're very skilled. I'm sure you'll learn quickly. But otherwise, very good!!

I love the facial expressions your figures have. You've got the body language and positioning nailed. It's not too often I can look at someone's sketchbook and feel like the person is coming through the screen at me. In a word: WOW. Thank you for posting!
