I love your dedication. Your studies are looking good, keep it up. So you see an object from one angle, but have to draw it from multiple angles without turning it? Sounds like a great exercise .

    shyamshriram- Thank you man

D.C.- thanks man. nah I do not draw multiple drawings. I just try to think of the object how it looks right now from every angle. for example I put one line down crossing the form ( I do that pretty often since it describes the space perfectly without having to spent time rendering it) and as I put that "form describing line" down onto the surface of the object in my drawing i continue to draw the line across the ENTIRE object, meaning for example the back and the bottom of it always thinking how it flows across the surface of the whole object. jeez hard to describe, does that even make any sense?

SnobbyOo- yeah man, keep on rocking those drawings!!

papervampire- thanks man! well at least thats my main focus right now. nothing more important than actuially understanding volume ins space

    Darkside- yusss, I will sir!!

xxPurple Nugxx- thanks man, god damnit!!!

ok nothing big for today. just a study I am doing from a black/white photo right now. Playing with pretty everything possible. It's awesome how even the most muddy and strange colors start to stick together and work together well as values and shapes become more and more correct. EVERYTHING is possible. Good God, SO awesome!!

Disappearing cursor in photoshop with big brushes? Hm... I remember my professor telling me caps lock sets your cursor to a default crosshair brush cursor. Don't know if thats what you're looking for though.

    Good sketchbook, will keep watching.

315 Days left, things are AWESOME and there is still so much time left!! :D

Darkside- haha yeah man that stuff just gets more and more awesome, can't actually put it into words

JSpayde- thanks man, yeah solved the problem already. had some issues with my graphic card driver. reinstalled it and everythings fine.

not too much for today. diggin those skullstudies more and more. I can feel them gettin tighter with every drawing. starting to see things right now is like the most awesome feeling for me right now (well there actually are some other feelings which are awesome as well but "learning to see" is definitely in the top 5.........I might elaborate some more on that in future updates........*cough*)
ah yeah and one silly creature I did today during senseless school lessons.

Google just took me to your SB from 2005, and holy crap — I'm so inspired by how much progress you've made. Can't wait to see where your year of ass-kicking takes you.

thanks so much guys, stuff like that keeps me going

finished the photo study, well at least took it so far till I thought I've learned my lesson. huge fun. Starting to understand value and form gives you the possibility to start an image completely from nothing more than crazy blobs of color and you can still emnd up with something that works. Maybe, MAAAAYBE I begin to start how painting works just now

    Hi again,
thanks for answering in my Sketchbook!

One question: Those bones (imitations) (skull etc...) are yours? May I ask you where you´ve bought them? (Online store?)

    Thanks,
    Marco

Wow! Thanks! I guess your skull is that 57,- Euro thingy, right?! (not that one which is about 200 Euros...)

I think I´m gonna buy that one (the cheaper one).

    Marco

PS: Edit: Bang... I´ve just ordered the 57 Euro skull (Amazon have that Erler Zimmer stuff, too...)

    OmertA - thanks man!

Fetsch- thanks man, gonna watch out for that

sooooo some more stuff. having some plans with those nude figures from imagination which I am doing pretty much all the time. in the future I am gonna treat them with that analytical approach as I have been doing till now BUT from now on I wanna make a badass character design out of every one of those. This way I will keep on studying but my sketchbook wil be completely filled with awesome characters when it's full challenging but GREAT. Good lord, I'm so pumped ARGGGGGHHHH!!

So here are todays figures and tomorrows characters
