hey all!

this is my first sketchbook here. really hoping to learn something from all of you awesome ca's.
i work as 3d artist at a danish vfx house called ghost, but would really like to learn some more 2d concept stuff.

-well, better get to it... all these sketches here in the first post are done within the last month. i plan on doing the deer-creature-thingie in 3d.

No updates since September? Naughty naughty. Your technique is pretty good, but I think you need to bump up the energy level in your compositions, things are a little to static.

yeah! i know, it's bad, but i've been really busy at work and doing 3d stuff in my sparetime.
but i soon start drawing again. i actually did a few on paper, but i haven't got a scanner... doh

but thanks for for the crits. better start doing some action poses.

hey guys!

i finally got a scanner. had birthday last friday -so, now i can finally scan in some of my "render-doodles" (stuff i do when waiting for renders at work) and some of the stuff i do at home.
so these first three pages here are all "render-doodles". some new and some are not.

more will come soon...

nice stuff, good sense of contrast and design.Digital color need some refinement, but improvement comes with time and practice...so keep up the good work

nice stuff in here, if i may, i think you should concentrate on forms and lighting, other than that nice concepts and keep truckin ur definetly on the right path... keep on keepin on! cheers

i've actually just bought burne hoggarth's "lighting and shade", but haven't had time to read it yet.
