Really nice environments Beelow! The intentional 3 point perspective makes your buildings feel more monumental. Pretty good understanding of anatomy too! Might practice gesturing a little more to work out some of the stiffness in your figures. But the knowledge of anatomy is there. Nice work overall man!

Your environmental stuff is way cool! and that last Chow entry drawing I like in particular. Great painting style but keep working on those figures studies to loosen your figures up a bit. Nice, Nice work!

Horray! No more mouse painting! I will have some more stuff up soon.

BarretThomson- Thanx for dropping by. Just dropped by your sb and your work is pretty hot dude!

Bartovan- I will eventually post some stuff soon. I am trying to work on moodsetting and color for my environments and maybe some of my character designs as well. These are areas I am most struggling in and also my character designs. I am trying to break out of relying to heavily on ref. for character designs, I don't do it often but sometimes my stock photos call to me and tell me to open it cause I just dont know what something looks like or 'how does this look in this lighting situation'. I am currently experimenting with texture to get some detail in my works but that will not be the main focus of my studies though, its part of it though, hehe. Back to detailing the crap out of my stuff, I think that may be not necessary as I have seen very successful works that does not require one to detail the crap out of it. I think that I was one thing thatI used to do and thought that is what made illustrations successful. Nope found out it is about composition(another beast that I am studying)! So this is to let you know where I am headed with my improvement. Thanx again for posting.XD

    Not so Pimp juice... 12/4/06

designboot-Thanx! XD They could be better though.

Listing-Thanx a bunch. I am working on it. Who'd thought that color and composition was going to be easy...I did a while ago. Now I am starting see things clearly or not, maybe. XD

I have an old environment I though I would do in color and a couple of other pieces. The last was a quick 20 min to see what I can bust out in that amount of time. More environment pencils to come...just gotta figure when I am to scan them.

You got perspective down on a level that most can't reach. I wouldn't worry about the color thing. I can see that you are trying out several combinations of warm and cool lately, and some of them are working quite well. It all just comes down to practice, doesn't it? The color of the enviros in post 40 worked best for me.

You have a lot of dramatic creativity when picking a point of view for enviroments. Cool!

Thanx arttorney! Kind words coming from ya buddy! Well that is my Eon and I am trying to figure that one as well. I hope I can polish that super good hehe! Yeah Color has been the thing that has always slow me down. So I am trying to figure it out. And there is composition and taking a graphic approach to my work which is really difficult for me to understand. So I am trying to find a way to approach my work and have fantastic results. I am looking to create Iconic and Epic images with great narrative. That is the goal.

I think I like your self-portrait the most, I like the mood it captures.

I especially love seeing work that has been sketched out then digitally colored, does something for my eyes and feels very solid.

kallisti- I tend to have the most trouble with doing pencil sketches and then doing then up digitally. hehe. I always want to stay true to my sketches. Thanx for the kind words! XD

Orifice-Thanx for dropping by dude! Yeah I seen your sketchbook and I am suprised that I have to match up with ya. It looks like I got my hands full as well. I see that your character works is far superior than mines and you top me on color. So I am going to have to pull a hat trick or something to win against the mighty Oriface!!! Thanx for the kind words and don't worry about the comments in the TD thread. I like to talk a bunch of crap and have a bit of fun with the other guys and gals there!

designboot- Thanx designboot! Your support has been great dude. I am glad that you stop by often dude. Yeah perspective is fun, I have the biggest issues with figures though hehe!

Mr Man- I am glad that my work is unique, that is a first! XD It puts a smile on my face that you think that. I always thought that was a problem that I have had was my originality. It makes me smile even more that my work is inspiring to you as well! You just boosted my ego a bit hehe! Yeah I will continue to update, fa sho! Thanx for stopping by!
