Work in progress, obviously.
I can't quite figure the left leg out - it's meant to be on its side, but doesn't look right yet.
Any suggestions and tips are appreciated

Since she's sitting, you might want to flatten out her ass a little. Right now it looks like she's clenching and stitting up high on her tensed-up ass muscles![]()
That's an excellent point, thanks. Any suggestions on the leg?Originally Posted by Rhineville
If you really want the leg sticking out to the right, sorry, no suggestions other than getting a ref.
Originally I thought her left leg was bent in front of her, and her right hand was holding it close to her chest. Could try it if you want, might balance things out a touch![]()
She's actually holding up a sheet with her right hand, and her right leg is where that blue outline on the right is.
the way you've positioned her does not impy her left leg is out on its side.. it should be in front of her. when a leg is out like that, the ass flattens a little and the cheeks separate and distort a certain way. it moves with the leg. id recommend using a ref or you'll go crazy tryin to make it look the correct way. very nice sketch by the way - JAG
PS the postioning of her head needs a little work too..
it's only after you've lost everything, that you're free to do anything..
Hey you!
Nice name( I should have picked an alias too) nice to see someone familiar here.
How about drawing through her and place foreshortened cylinders to try out the leg poses. Or better just do the skeletal framework then add cylinders.
Okay...that's not really an original thought but I think it'll help.
I also noticed the shoulderblade. It should follow the movement of the arm. In that pose it should have a slight swivel.
I'm not a great anatomy artist but this helps...
