    Wow so many comments

Skrunchey - I think i know what you mean with playing it safe; it's a good point and you're right about this i think. Thank you very much for your helpful comment, i will try my best to implement your tips!

Dile - Thank you for the motivation !

Teh Gosu - I just used the transform -> perspective/distort tool in Photoshop.

ori - Thank you for the kind words. On my daily job, i work as a barman to pay my bills and be able to study at home

lema - Thank you I often work from reference for studies and when i don't know how to work further i often use my photo/inspiration folder to get a better idea. But most stuff i post here is without the help of direct ref.

Calader - Thank you a lot for the great feedback. I will try my best to implement this on my next works. Great stuff on your page btw !

Here's a little wip and a quick sketch, i'll post some stuff for mystery of albesila soon!

love how painterly that mountain enviro is. great colours, spot on brushstrokes. lights in the second one looking cool, especially on the facade and the car/road. thick black lines are distracting me a bit, but real solid work as always.

The last two are wonderful images - I've seen you in the Deviant Art sci fi section before. From what I've seen there, the pinkish, bright futuristic hues of the sky city environment has transformed into a greener, serene surrounding.

    Keep doing you

lacadam - I'm not exactly sure what you mean... but for little lights i use a small hard round brush, then a bigger soft one with linear dodge or brighter color. I often adjust spacing so i don't have to paint every single light.

So i'm back from holidays with a fresh mind. A little late but a Happy new year and thank you all for the comments and critiques in 2007 !!!
For 2008, i will try to paint at least 3 sketches a day and post one image every day. Because i was way too lazy the last year and didn't progress much as i wanted... Please feel free to kick me in the ass if i don't work enough. No more laziness and playing too much for 2008 !

Thank you Samantha. Just one pic to post, working on my new homepage takes a lot of time and can get really annoying if you have as good as no html and php knowledge.

Amazing works, I can only hope to be as good as you one day.
There is but one thing that bugs me and thats how much you use the Sharpen filter/brush. The sharpen can have nice textures on some places like wet stone, but it ruins more than it fixes imo.

    Gardener - Thank you.
Pawkfox - I think i got used to that look very quickly, then tend to do things too sharp. I'll remember this, thank you!
beetleboy - I've already done one (with some text), it will be on my new homepage soon. I'll post the link here when it's finished, i think in one or two days. I think i posted some progress on page 2 as well

#2 for today, looked through some photos before.

Nice improvements! You are doing great, and I really like how you explore both ends of the spectrum on types of environments! If you need any help with your homepage message me and I will try to help out. I am working on a few different sites right now too! keep up the good work!

really nice stuff , fantastic use of colour and environmental perspective.
I think you should try and vary the compositions a bit more, you tend to use the open vistas a lot which is understandable but introducing more foreground stuff will provide more challenges (because thats the hardest stuff to paint, especially within a larger space)

Skrunchey - Thank you for your help. If i have problems i will contact you, but for now it looks like i can get it to work by myself. But i really appreciate your offer!

dtr.aty - Only the last posts are from 2008. I'm currently not working as an artist, still a looong way to go. I learned some anatomy, but mostly concentrating on environments. Thank you for your comment!

EAD - Thanks a lot for the constructive feedback, i will keep that in mind!

    dsg - Thank you

    saturniaus - Thanks!
