    monkey yak

    20 min sketch. 1st try at using only photoshop as a drawing tool. Started with a black blob and laid in color. How can I make it pop?

    vivid hi-lites and a proper background will really make it stand out.. aside from the usual details. this guy kinda reminds me of the mogwais from Gremlins. - JAG

    its going fine.
    try some hard edges in the harder stuff (horns, belt, spear..).
    And start detailing the fur with smaller brushes.
    Can't really see what's going on with the face.

    Nice but his face....does not look like a monskey, i would say that it is a minotaur or an ugly bull....
