    Road to Sagh-Bendah

I had no clue what is this going to be at the end. Just started out from the scratch, without drawing underneath nor any refs. Blocking in the colors and some happy coincidences happened.

It took me about two hours with the new Painter. I hope you like it.

    Cheers,

    Hey there,
I've read this forum now since... one week, I think.
This' my first post, so a great 'hello' to all of you out there.
(and sry for my 'german sentences' ... I'm from Germany )

Well now... what I wanted to say to you, Chupacabra:
    Your picture is really amazing!

When I've seen it, there was the question: "Where do these friends want to go?" .... "Why does the boy feels so sad?" < He feels sad, doesn't he?!
And I really love this whale! "Cute and Cuddly boys, cute and cuddly!"

In my eyes it could be a picture from a book - which tells a great and epic story... this picture is like a snapshot, you know?!

I want to know more... and primarily see more!
Keep up the good work, man!

    Best Regards,
    bearmann

    danielog: thanks a lot, man.

bearmann: Thanks for kind words. You're right, i also thought A LOT about the background story afterwards and how it could continue so i'll probably stay on the case and keep designing the world of Sagh-Bendah. Maybe even as a comic, who knows?

    Best regards,

It does look like there's a story here. It's pretty awesome, and that floating whale thing is kind of cute.
