haha great work man the studies at the top of this page were beautiful great lines and nice clean articulate rendering,
and the sequence is cool too, just needs some touch ups here and there, make sure to fix the way the wolves left leg is bending in the last page, it looks broken.. I just started a sequence too but I havent posted mine yet.. for sharing man

Thanks Jedi I've finished the job, and I'm glad it's done. It's a fairly fun concept but.... I'm not a comics guy. And it shows. I really don't find the process of drawing sequences of events fun. I much prefer to do single images, so the final 'page' was the most fun.

I also don't know why, but I completely changed the way I render pencil for this job. Instead of working my way in general from dark to light, shading here and there, in this job I clearly marked off the change from light to dark then filled it in. I also went crazy with core shadows.... really I'm still wondering why the hell I did it that way! Because of that I was less focussed on the actual drawing, and a lot of the lines feel stiff (and yes the likeness is all over the damn place)

Still, not a terrible job, the client liked it so what the hell.

So presenting: SEXY WEREWOLF TRANSFORMATION JUTSU! (aka, the weirdest job in the world)

That was pretty cool actually, but I think the anatomy was a little generic. Even so, proper job, and the final image was impressive^^

Some things for a tabletop rpg. Hitting a weird slump in that I work on something, but then have to quit it for some reason or another. Just yesterday a logo for a local sports team was commissioned then canned in the SAME DAY. I was halfway through inking it digitally. I've been drawing every day but have little to really show for it.

    Thanks noodle.

Here's some stuff (faces from the draw from what does everyone look like thread)

Bad mood. Constant interruptions, having trouble making my digital sketches look like anything other than complete shit (the rough sketches I make in PS specifically, it's like my ideas aren't able to come forward with digital lines) overall right now having a hard time making things... usual whiny bitching that normally comes from me

That dragon is bloody brilliant. I like the bend of its body, to me it looks graceful.. as if it's dancing through the skies
    Insanity is the key!
Also, studies are a key. And passion is a key. Also, so are inspiration, motivation and dedication. Talent can be a key. Insomnia can also be a key, depression is a sad rusty little key. Damn, artists need one hell of a keyring.

Rather than give excuses about how busy and sick I was in this unexpected and unfortunate hiatus, I'll just say that I'm finally ready again to get some work done.

I did manage to squeeze out a few terrible posemaniacs images and horse studies (one of the things I'm trying to get better at, along with technical subjects like robots and ships) during the calamity. Also, some rough sketches from another weird commission that fell through:

    BOOBS!!!

hehe like the stuff, you certainly have drive.
Maybe do something simpler like a still life and really try to nail it. Drawing simpler pieces will help with your sense of proportion and lines

I can't comment on the quality of this post (feels like I forgot how to draw) but at least I'm back doing something now... Tried some technical stuff but didn't know what to doodle/study, so did some more poses and horse stuff.

Yo man, great sketchbook. I really like your viking things and fantasy stuff I must say (that helmet of Odin was pretty cool). And it would be grand if you have time to colour the werewolf comic. Looking forward seeing more.

I just re-read through this, you basically reminded how much I have been neglecting my poses and my studies. I've been blaming all the work I've had to do for my degree but clearly that's no excuse. So yeah thanks, also, your newer characters are great, hell it's all great

LORD M Thanks... I really don't think I'll end up colouring that werewolf stuff. I think I did a crappy job with the thing overall even if there are a few parts of it that I like.
    danlambert thanks a ton

Hahah. I could probably beat your ass, but surely not with critique.

You're works are just amazing, fantastic, brilliant and so forth. If they would suck I don't know what I would call my pieces of art. I'm sure you see the problem. So you just have to admit you're super cool and you're works just rock. Ok? Good boy.

And I will draw you. I'm just haven't yet invented any good excuses why I haven't already done it.

Dengan, my ref came from "Atlas of anatomy for artists" by Fritz Schider.
