have no fear, ben, I'm sure dan will have something figured out, and he's not the sort that would ever exploit the exchange/return policy of a large office supply company.Originally Posted by bdfoster

We'll definitely have Todd's work projected. We are also looking into having Donato's work projected as well. This way it will be easier to watch both artists at the same time.
I’m afraid that we won’t be opening up more tickets than last time. With fewer artists it will actually feel tighter, not less so, since there will be more attendees grouped around each artists. Also, I like the idea of keeping the experience intimate. We want these demos to feel more like sharing than lecturing.
MIKE, if you dont go to this Im going to Bitch slap you supreme.....
Just think of all us europeans whod love to see this, and you live so close and dont wanna go???! thats a slap in the face right there....

The real fact is, we try to keep the costs down as much as possible to begin with. There isn't a whole lot left over once we've paid for all the operating costs.
I wish I could see at least one of these event. I really hope you wil show a lot in pictures and writing about your experience, it was so nice of you last time. I am forever grateful.

hey dan can you get me in for free i'll give you free pr0n.
Tim, I'm sure there will still be tickets when you get here. But just in case I'll set one aside for you.
Welcome to your NY studies!
Man, I seriously wish I could go. I get the absolute biggest kick from those events. I'd be hovering over Todd like I do over dan. ha! I know I've had to have weird people out up there.
That's exactly why I enjoyed them so much. It's a place that's really respectful to the artist.Originally Posted by Irene Gallo

Do you think there's enough spaces for me to ask if the illustration club at VCU would be interested in going? I think we would be looking at a range of 15 to 30 people. A gathering like this would be a great experience for the club -

Thanks Dan, I just sent the powers that be an email. I didn't know if you had filled up yet or not, since this is freakishly awesome. I'd love to come, so we'll see what happens. If I can't get them all to go, I'll russle up a group to make a roadtrip -

I'm bummed that you aren't demo-ing, Dan. I only got to sample your demo at the con.
(I think I'm missing the purchasing info for these events)
I see lovely Irene is looking in... nice to have met you in S.D. and thanks for all you do.
i'm waiting on a buddy to let me know if he can go before i buy tickets.
are they on sale already, or almost sold out?
if they're going fast, i may just buy em and see what happens.
any info on this anyone?
i'm talking specifically about the oct 7th one.
the Society is closed all August so i doubt there will be anyone there to take your calls, but if i were you i'd call anyways to be 100% sure.
actually, i called them and they said that there are only a few gone so far.
so i think next week will hopefully be soon enough to get a ticket still.
the girl i talked to said i could call next week, so i'm thinking someone will hopefully be there.
The Society's exhibit halls are closed in August, but they are OPEN to take calls. The place closes in August each year so that it can be repainted, have the plumming fixed, and generaly catch up on work without teh distarctions of their normal activities. In other words, do not be afarid to call and ask for tickets- there will be someone there to take your order and mail out the tickets.
No new info, but, we have changed Greg's postcard to be...well, louder!
