    A Curious Inquiry? Art Restoration?

    Does anyone know how one gets into art restoration and such? someone mentioned it to me the other day and i thought it was an interesting question.

    I know at concordia University (montreal) restauration was a major in art and a minor in chemistry, or the other way around. Anyhow, there was chemistry involved.

    FIT in New York has a restoration major, but it's primarily objects, furniture and interiors, not paintings. I also think NYU has an art restoration masters program.
