hy there sve
1,3 from and the one with the little girl the first post are the only ones i like
the others are nice but ... i don't know...maybe you should not post so many photos of the same subject( same flowers, same mountaines...)don't get me rong, i take minimum 3 shot's of the same subject but only trying to find a better angle and a better composition and saving the best one. you also' must make the picture look interesting by the angle you use or the colours.
i think you'r not trying hard enough.
anyhow hope you can understand what i'm saying.
looking foward for a new post from you.
cheers
My guarding angel is a double agent !!
Aah, I like landscapes.
Note to self: Learn to forage if ever you find yourself in Siberia. What on Earth would there be to eat there dammit?
It looks really quite nice.
I like the road picture which is straight down the road and the first and third of the second set especially. Those and 3rd set 6th picture down.
I hear it gets extremes of temperature there, so what was the weather like?
hehehe. you are funny, alucard. Do you see a woman with black hair in some pictures. hehhe. It's me. I am trying hard to do a good picture, hahahahah.
Few pictures took my daughter and my husband. But thank you so much. Yeah, couldn't resist to post too many similr images. But I will think more before posting next time. This one actually more like a report about my trip to Russia for my friends.
Rhynome Oh, thank you so much, warmed me heart enormously. Russia is extreme in everything. Temperature too. It was a terrible heat, 37C when I was there, with unexpected rain storms.
Julien, ahhh, thank you, what are sweet guy you are. Gentle kiss. Wish you ultimate happiness, friend.
Simon, thank you, I was worried so much, please forgive my stupid behavior, I'm very sorry. Because I didn't behave, may I just offer to shake your hard-working paw. All the best to you, my dear friend and teacher.
Thank you so much for these.

dang it! you destroyed the stereotype in my head about siberia! Where's all the snow-covered Mongols huh??
Mwaah, you just made me want to go to Siberia more than ever!
I am totally awesome and one day I'll be able to prove it.
all that greenery looks awesome, id love to go there. ive always been abit off going too russia etc but now looking at them id like it.
Like some others, I wouldn't have expected there to be so much green. That's what happens when you live in an urban area...you lose touch with nature and seasons. Looks like it might be late or mid Spring over there. Is that right? Oh ya,and that tank is badass. As much as I dislike the purpose of its being, it still looks cool.
I thought that was so very Russian; Mobile Artillery for the hell of it.
Sve, was there any reason in particular that it was there, or was it just a showpiece because they wanted one?
It's probably Early to Mid Summer more than Late Spring. On the close-up of the non-evergreen tree it doesn't seem to have buds or anything of the sort that usually implies Spring.
I would mention something about Spring being a tiny bit more colourful than what's shown in these pictures (leading me to think it's summer), but then again I don't know what the plant-life is like over there.
Also, sve says 'recent trip', we've gone past mid-summer, so recent could well be early-mid summer for that reason alone.
i just came back from russia too, and i am in no way a photographer but i will see if there any photos i find worthy to share.

Elwell, I'm happy you like them, thank you back.
Main Loop, heheh. It is dangerous to have stereotypes. I didn't show 1/1000 part of what Siberia is though. You can fit your vision somewhere there too. But guess what, it is right the place where snow covered Mongols live. East Siberia. Only in Russia they called Burjats.
Sofia Alexandra Transportation there is pretty hard and tiresome and very expensive. Nature is very beautiful, yes, for any taste. It is still very wild and clean.
jonton Thank you so much. It is very good to have your own trains and airplanes to travel in Russia. Otherwise it is a very exhausting experience. Right two day before my flight from Irkutsk to Moscow the same airplane from the same airline company caught fire when it hit illegal private car garages on the territory of the airport. 135 people died. Irkutsk is a very big city btw.
They were transferring dead bodies in my flight on my airplane. First time I saw very rude stewardesses.
Nature is gorgeous though, great place for tourism.
Hello, Scott. hehe, yeah, a lot of trees and grasses in Siberia, still very much virgin forests. It was period from June the 22 till July the 16. Thank you for taking a look and writing to me. Hope to see more art from you soon. I love how your ideas and execution of them.
Rhynome. hello again, thank you so much for writing to me twice.
Yeah, you are right, wonderful, very good observations skills both from visuals and from listening. It was last month/ beginning of this one.
The tank is actually not exactly a tank, more like motorised cannon, as was explained to me. It is left from 1991 year when an army was reformed (reduced) and a lot of obsolete machinery was dumped. Now it is just a detail in local park in small country side place.
manslauter Really? looking forward to see it. Which part of Russia it will be?

some from moscow, some from kaliningrad or whatever it is called now (where my grandparents live, very ghetto), and some from where 2 of the cottages (dacha) are. forests, etc.

Wow, thank you very much for sharing those picture![]()
It looks really nice, especially the house. The last one with the blue windows reminds me of some indian decorations. its funny how things can look almost the same and yet they're so far from each other.
Thanks again for posting these :>

Sorry for bumping this up, but wow, these are very inspirational.
http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1153593869 <--- I want to build a house there, by the windswept tree. I also like the pic with your Christie in it. She looks precious btw.
...The embelishment on the houses is superb, I assume they are made of wood? How old are those houses? They must be well-preserved, for that wood to last the elements.
Thanks for sharing the photos, Svetlanka. And ty for sending the link. Guess what, the invisible text in my profile is back, and reverted back to default colors. Its definitely a browser issue, because I had just cleared my cookies. Still its not supposed to do that. I was going to post this on your page, but **** happened![]()
Thanks for sharing these.

Really, dear? You want to live in this ever changing place on earth. I mean facing wind all the time. It is telling, Johann. I will interpret it as you are ready for changes in your life.
Yes, I gonna kill you with my conversation, you will end up making your text invisible on purpose. I'm gonna write few comments, and then I will move into your profile and live there. Love your new photo in the profile, You got some unusual features. Your eyes are black, very dark at least, right? Your face is closed box with a lot of interesting treasures behind.
Thanks for being so kind to me, I don't know how to make it last. I want it be like this forever. And nothing is forever.
Wooden houses are pretty old, 100 years or more, built in the 19th century. You see, Russians love embellishments, in everything.
This is wonderful Sveta, so much to see in Russia, I dont think many people realise that. Wonderful nature and a lot of culture.
Great images!
Thank you, Edite, You are sweet girl. making artists in the site happy from your loving voice.
Agreed. There is so much to draw inspiration from. Just look at their window trimming for cryin' out loudOriginally Posted by fooxoo

Oh, thank you Infinit, I thought you don't like me, could you imagine, thanks, that's relief. Of course, I'm regular, don't say this. But I kind of lost any fear to look ridiculous , I just don't care anymore. So my comments are pretty open. Thanks again. Your comments are pretty salty sometimes, I like it.
it's not salt but lazyness, they sometimes taste alike ^^ (thx I'm trying to help and just hope ppl don't get me wrong)
sooo... why did you think I don't like you (I honestly can't imagine)
