Thanks. They are easier for me if I am simultaneously working on something else (in this case better looking lines with the tablet and how to draw within boundaries better).

My TUMBLR!
Yes it is Sketchup (free version). So far I have about two hours invested in the program, downloading, tutorials and all. I figured if I have to have a Windows computer to run the .pdf making scanner I use for filing federal cases online, I might as well get Sketchup. Beats me why they don't have enough sense to make a linux version of it. The handle on the right should have been sticking up perpendicularly out of the upper surface of that weapon. Then that thing would be truly vicious.
Here's more of a drunken old man copying stocky people drawn by another drunken old man.
Well, I have recently looked back at my lengthy rantings of about a year ago and I can safely say there has really not been much of a change. Yes, I am finally kicking my idiot brother out of my house, but sadly one of my sisters and one of my brothers apparently mean to subsidize him in an apartment. This, of course, will confirm for him his theory about how he doesn't have to pay his way through life like everybody else does. At least he won't be in my house. At least I will have my studio back and can return to preparing the big oils.
My hopes of making really good money filing bankruptcies for people is seemingly a pipe dream, since most of those people are so screwed up their cases are really labor intensive, and yet market rate money for such a case is chicken feed by comparison to the work. The law firm for which I contract as an Of Counsel remains on the verge of collapse, as it has for lo these many years now. I'm getting used to it. At least I get along with my secretary quite well.
I think I can safely write off the dream of becoming a judge. My credit rating is now in ruins thanks to my involuntary supporting of my brother.
At least I'm too old to get drafted and forced to fight in the big war we are probably about to have. That's something. I should move back to Prescott Valley before all hell breaks loose though.

About the trend back into half-assery, I don't know what to say. I will begin sticking to what I want to do now. I'm tired of giving a shit what others want to see. Maybe there will be some who think it will all be half-assed. Oh well.

My Concept Sketchbook - My Profile - Don't care my grammar level.. Because i don't know anything about it..
Well I change around because I am still sorting through tools. These recent pages starting with "Threshers" have the panel boxes formed by Inkscape open source vector program, the city is formed by Sketchup and then placed into the boxes using the GIMP. Then the figures and word bubbles are formed and placed using the GIMP as well. I still need to mess around a little bit getting used to importing and exporting because I like the word bubble feature in Open Office's drawing tool better and I'd like to work at a little higher resolution than I did this time. Also there is some texturing I could do with the Open Office drawing tool if I really wanted to render this stuff out, but I need practice to get used to changing back and forth. Except for the sketchup, I am fully open source.

It's not like I am not doing anything. All those thresher guys get shoved into this fourth panel in perspective after I have done some painting on their clothes and adjusted their hands/arm to be holding the threshers. All three of the pages will have this metallic panel borders thing going on instead of the shades of black I posted earlier in this thread.

Hey the pencil roughs aren't bad at all, your running poses are best imo, just watch out on the proportions a bit on some. Like the leg kickin straight out in the air is a bit too short.

Thanks. I'll even get back to the Bridgman when there's time. This is still a WIP because the figure needs a little more work/rendering. She's kind of supposed to be a little cartoonish, but currently there are a lot of ugly marks that need smoothing.

i think the girl in bed must be in pain...
ha~ happy new year~
She's supposed to have been raised in complete isolation. I would expect some psychological pain to be associated with such a condition. That is a scary crit, though, because the cover is supposed to be attractive to children and adults, and focusing on the gradual socialization parts of the story would be far less dark than what I've done here. The below is a WIP.
