POV decapitation - phase 1 inks

I was doodling on my Wacom (no, that is not a euphemism) and I was feeling particularly violent so I came up with this. I haven't really worked on lighting yet, just did a first run at the inks. Any thing look funny, excpet the ridiculous anatomy of the neck cross section? (was afraid to seek out reference material for severed necks...yeeek). I just threw in a background texture to cut down on the confusion until I shade it.

Lol, you mean the far dude he's decappin'? Yeah, it does, that'll clear up once the shading goes in. I hope.

this is nauseatingly cool. great perspective. wouldn't the far dead guy's arm be chopped off too? or is he flailing due to the lack of a head?

Hmmmm, Stevo, you have something there..damn! I don't think he would get his arm up that quick after his decap and the arm wasn't drawn to be in motion. I think I'm gonna address that right away, thanks Stevo.

I've started to color this thing, experimenting with textures and what not. What do you people's think of the background? Is it appropiate? Any other comments welcome..thanks!

Looking great, although considering this is DECAPITATION we're talking about... There would be WAY more blood everywhere & on the blades, too.

his pose does not look so dynamic, but the perspective looks cool, you should put him with more angle and more camera dynamic, but cool anyway...
