    The real meaning of life

I've figured out the meaning of life and what people trick you into thinking it is.
Many philosopher's believe the meaning of life is what the majority think it is and that is to earn money and raise a family. But! alot of people haven't done any research on the matter like me. I've talked to and met people and heard what they think the meaning is and they all think it is to earn money and raise a family. I've concluded that, that is what people have been told to think by employers, schools and any sort of institution so that people don't figure the real meaning out and so that people devote themselves to working hard for that employer or school and paying taxes and not going off seeking the real answers that only a select few are suppose to know about. 8)

The real answer to life has something to do with art and breaking the trend to go off and do your own thing away from life and not be part of the rat race. It's that simple and it's not that far away either.pld:

    -Mullet. A man of integrity.

EDIT: This is not an opinion, this ideal has a cult like following in some areas.

Recently I discovered that the True Meaning of Life was to headbutt an italian in the chest.

The juxtaposition of the words 'mullet' and 'intergrity' in this post makes it just that much more absurd.

you found something much more worthwhile, you know voodo priests of hadies don't know it, people search their whole lives for this secret and some would value the answer at a higher price than the holy grail. But here I am at 22 and am already aware of it. Although usually more times than not the meaning of life is different for different people which I forgot to mention.

Or... maybe, and this is just my crackpot, crazyass, moronic, intense, insane, underthought, undeveloped, rushed, pushed, molded, bouldered, vaccinated, overloaded, underdrived, exported, outsourced, fucked over, cockjuggled, juicy, sirloinesque, virgin idea, but maybe everybody has their own idea of "meaning of life".

I was lost in transit not coming or going and then I found the answer much like a non believer being converted, it's similar to what sort of culture you fit into like biker, hippy, beatnik etc. I explained that for me it was to drop out of society and practise art travelling from coffee bar to blues cafes and so on but it's so much more than that also it's a revelation really which is hard to put into words because you suddenly realise how wrong you have been. I've told you that dropping out of society is the first step then you have to do some 'soul searching'.

Luxun you're perhaps the one who understands but maybe you aren't because when you're sure you will really know. All you have to keep doing is asking 'WHY?' and then when you've lost all your faith you will understand. The path is open to be walked

I thought this might happen, but then again maybe I really don't know the secret and maybe I just started this thread to see if someone else could figure the meaning out for me, then I could sell that theory off as my own..but I guess we'll never know....ever..

the meaning of life has pre determined where this thread is destined. Just as the meaning has determined alot of things. I could even go as far as to say that the meaning of life made me start this thread...

Well I may not know the meaning of life, but I do know that my life will have no meaning if I dont GO DRAW SOMTHING.

OK, I've got my grains of salt held tight in my left hand, but I'm going to try and take this as an attempt at serious discussion.

Mullet, thread derailments aside, do you seriously think that one way one life is the only way for the billions of people upon the earth?
That there is only one true way or meaning? That the way for you will be the same for your neighbour, the Kalahari bushman, the oppressed Papuan villager and the privileged son of an English nobleman?

Seriously dude, have a think about some of the stuff you wrote. Preferably with a clear head. Natural isn't always better...

BTW JERI, Zidane made my day. The match was otherwise a time waster, pure entertainment.

I know the meaning of life. You can find it out too! All you have to do is say out loud before you go to sleep:

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE?"

And then the answer will come to you that night while you sleep.

Apparently the meaning of life has something to do with Dan Brown being a fraud from the 4th dimension.
