    moonlit

such amazing stuff being shown here! totally humbled by it all...

lifting jaw back up, to speak/type/whatever... so just wanted to share something i did before taking off for vaca about a month ago. this is the cover for 'tales of the moonlight cutter' #3. ya can check out the myriad publishing's site, which has a much better description, than i could ever muster up: http://www.dalewberry.com/

aside from the image you see, there's also links to the version text, and the wrap-around with a back cover flap.

    as always c&c's welcome.

much appreciated, and take care all!

    thanks,
    johng

I like it, but it looks a little wierd. Right now it looks a little like the guy with the sword is killing the dudes under him as it looks like they are kinda screaming in pain. But it still looks cool, you have an interesting style.

    hey kaya,

thanks for responding! glad ya like it. according to the concept of the story, it's kinda what is going on. the sword is 'consuming' and 'trapping' the spirits. thanks again!

    thanks,
    johng

This is a well drawn piece. The characters in the cloud are unbalanced, though. You've got the two larger characters on the right, and the smaller ones on the left. Swapping might help.

I like the way the characters are drawn and I think you've made some good colour choices. Oh, and I like the stylised look of the clouds too.

Very well done...The piece is very nicley laid out all except what Quatermass said. But other than that, I like the lighting on this piece and the samurai style art you put into it.

    Keep up the good work!
