Sicknasty. The process on that creature is pretty helpful. I mean, it's not some groundbreaking new thing, but it helps for folks like me who over-think the shit out everything.

    Noice.

Great stuff. I love the Swamp Monster, and it was interesting to see your process. I'm going to try to use fewer layers and so on, I think it's getting in the way. Or maybe not.

Your earlier stuff is really nice too, full of life and energy.

Thanks a lot for the reply, I tried to tweak my photoshop a bit, but I guess that it's a wacom driver thing...and it's not just with large brushes...the lag isn't that significant though. Anyway thanks Great sketches btw. Each of these is unique and I'd love to see some of them finished

metal fingers: hahah gotta catch 'em all!
    jaredsalmond: thanks!
    justinbeckett: very thanks!
    style33: thank you!
defiledvisions: I hope you will be there for the next stream to ask questions!
    sean mcmurchy: wicked! thanks!
nickybeats: thank you! I'm glad to know that you find the steps useful!!!
wilkerson: I don't have time to render personal work. All my rendering is going to freelance work.
zaorr: thanks! studies are never ending...
    smokenmirrors: lickitty lick!
mark winters: not as cool as u last night~ ziiiiing
jovian M: hahah overthinking?!?!? don't think too much! it's always better that way!!
    The_Flying_Dutchman: thanks!!
Strela: thanks! I used to only work on 1 layer when I first started, and I think it's just a personality thing. Now I generally just do the bulk of the work on a new layer, and merge down as I go. I don't need all those layers! They'll just confuse me! MERRRRRGE downnnn. The only time I ever really keep layers in my PSD is when I think about saving to show the process.
Nettle Mountain: yeah, I love Arne's work and really learned a lot from his tuts
Clochette: ouaiiiii! merci! i will finish it when I find some time to noodle on stuff
    mydrim: shiny glow ~ weeeeeeee~
    Krato: thanks mang
    mike butkus: thank you monsieur!
thirdeye: that sucks about the lag! I hope to finish a couple creatures sometime...been real busy all of a sudden!!
Vertebra: thanks! traditional figure work? hum...yeah I guess I haven't been to lifedrawing in a while :s
    kan: thanks pal!
lilnebo: I'm glad u like it! I deleted the stream cuz it was crap. I will do another stream that is more eloquent and with more viewers to ask me questions! It will be better for everyone!!!! I Just need to get some more time :s

I went from getting no work at all for like 3 months of hunting...to all of a sudden getting TONS of work. I don't get it! The mystery of the life of a freelancer...anyway been suuuper busy!

I went to my friend/fellow artist Dave Rapoza's house last weekend for his birthday, and these are some sketches I did while I was down there. I also was doing sketches for work...

    justin: sweeeeeeeeeeeet thanks dude!
metal fingers: your fingers, they're made of metal. Yeah it's bad construction on my part. my brain melts sometimes and I don't think about things I should...

teundeboer: your name is so hard type for my feeble american brain. thanks dude!!
mattgamer: derberger...sketcheeeeeeeeeeeeee! yeah I'm doing a bunch of fantasy work, so it seeps into my doodles... I'm doing pretty good overall, just a bit busy with deadlines that were shortened on me mid-way through a job.
