Great sketchbook man. Really like the coloring style you got. I like that it's not that high in contrast and the cearity of them. Will be following your back.

Chupachups: hahah I can feel your breath, but that's not my neck your breathing on....
DANKA: thanks man! right back at you, I really enjoyed going through your sketchbook!
Teundeboer: thank you very much!! I always am trying to push myself to get better quality with my work...doesn't always work out, but everything is relative! Just a few years ago I was really crap, and even though I've gotten a lot better...i still feel really crap about most of the things I do. Just keeps pushing me to keep getting better!
    Dozeren: Thanks!

Thanks a ton for the positive comments everyone, it really helps keep me going, and reaching to do personal work on top of the freelance!

here's some lifedrawing [2 different sessions]. The first session was horrible. I had a terrible day all day, and was really frustrated...tried to relax with some life drawing, and couldn't focus at all...just felt terrible. Lots of noise [music + talking] threw me out of it. Not sleeping makes me super neurotic [more than normal] and so I get really sensitive to noises. Got some in-ear earphones, and it's totally changed everything. Not super comfortable to wear all day, but I can focus so much better, and get way more work done! I'm researching closed-ear noise canceling headphones. If anyone knows a good brand, please let me know!

I really like the lifedrawings. Very cool - but you know i love you anyhow, right?

Just nitpicking ... be careful with your darkest darks in the lifedrawings. In the last one especially the edge showing the line of the spine right above the sacrum goes way dark - might be the scanner - but it cuts in hard and destroys the form in that place. You get similar darks in the hair. Supposing the hair is darker than her skin, the shadow on her back seems to be invading the hairs value range. In the same way you could go lighter on the darks in the feet and between her legs and instead lower the value where her body touches the surface to communicate more of a feeling of solidity. Again, scanners like to fuck up the values, so i can't be sure. Also most places where i've been lifedrawing had horrible lighting setups. Keep going! (or else i'll cut off yer hobbit feet)

Troubadour: lol ...yeah I hear that a lot, but no one has told me a good reason why yet... I've used big paper and different mediums in class, it feels the same to me. I just prefer pencil and paper, and it's less stuff to carry around.
jatherip: thanks. Life drawing is really fun. I've not done much anatomy studies, so most of what I know about figures is from lifedrawing.
miycko: thanks. I want more time to do better studies.
John: Thank you very much! I love you too~ I think it's mostly me, I start to go in and blast the darks, and can't bring the other values relative before the pose is over. On that sacrum shadow, you are right. That was two 20 minute poses, and she didn't get back in the same position, but I drew the new shadows on my drawing because I'm dumb.
Giorge: Thanks. I love licking things, especially if they're salty.
D@niel: your pants make my pants look like a minger.
Bendragon: Thanks man. I would love to be able to render as good as a 3d CGI film, I'm still a far way off yet.
lwhuang: thanks. if you have a sketchbook you should put it in your sig, so other people can find u quick.

been really busy with freelance. A few big jobs and then some rush jobs back to back. Haven't had much sleep. In my free time I'm trying to do more studies. I know freelance will slow down and I'll have lots of time, and no money. But for now I'm just trying to keep up.

"I love licking things, especially if they're salty." haha that's a creepy statement that makes my imagination wonder to other round thing that hang an it's is said that they are salty , anyway ... good stuff ... like the checker background on that nature (ska ska ska) , although the nudes in this last post look like , uncared fore and done just to be done ... looks like you didn't pay much attention or you were uncertain

    take care

I really like the still life painting (even though there's some errors) and the life drawings are just great! And I love the piece you did as a birthday gift. Keep 'em coming!

I don't want to do any commercial for my SB but it would be really nice if you could give me some critic, suggestions or anything.
