Great work! She is a cool game character. Nice red color, creates alot of mood. I think it is one of your nicest character designs.

    Nice stuff

Okay, some crits on the colour piece...

Her lips look a bit 'stuck on'. It could be the dark outline, or because the shadow doesn't follow the form of the lips (you may need a shadow under the bottom lip)

    Her belly sits too low.

The breast in the foreground looks like it's sitting on top of the other one. I think the chest/ribcage outline should be brought up between the two breasts.

The nose and lips are on a slightly wrong angle compared to the eyes.

You could change the position of the front pocket/knife thing. It looks a little rude.

    Hope this helps.

    Keep posting.

Wow, she sacraficed some internal organs for that waist. She's very pretty though! ^^ Don't take offense, it's a joke I make when I see a drawing of a really thin girl. I love the pose, it's very relaxing! Way cool!

Thanks for posting those critiques. I agree with all your comments. I'm going to consider this piece completed and apply what I just learned to another piece.

    Cheers, :chug:

Okay, some crits...Let me preface this by saying the hair is really cool and I dig it. There are 3 main things I noticed immediately that I did not like: first is the blade, it looks a little phallic, unless that is your intention (in which case would be very clever). Second, the thing going on between the pants and the legs. Now, it looks like her pants are riding low, but when I look for the form of the leg it seems to connect at the hips in a weird place, so just a little anatomy check there. Also, study the folds of the pants more closely. Third, is HER right arm, I had a problem at first glance distinguishing the negative space there from her actual arm/elbow, and then I noticed you cut off her right hand, now come on. Everything else looks pretty kosher.

Thanks Chromo48. I took the pose from a JCPenny Catalog. I coulda swore I didn't see any visible right hand so I didn't put it down I guess. I must have forgotten about it. I mean, it's just a right hand. It's not like she dosen't have another one.
I was going for low-riding pants. But I see what you mean.
As for her knife... I'll leave that one to the interpretation of the viewer. It's kinda interesting the responses I've been getting about that.

    Cheers

I don't think there is anything wrong with her. Her body is fine! It's not realistic drawing, it's fantasy style. With the same luck you can critique spider-man saying that people can't clime the walls... or say that the Matrix is wrong because all special effects in there are against the physics’ rules...
