not bad stuff you've got here. Its evident you need to do a lot more work on anatomy, but your structual stuff is quite nice. Looks like the heart of an architect.

    A new character design/modelsheet
Here I was designing a futuristic cyborg "Samura" who was a gang member, got drafted in the army and then had post combat surgery.
The idea was to have a turnaround, construction view, facial expressions, poses, and a colored pose.

I quite like your animal anatomy stuff. As for the alien, the resemblance to ET might be a bit too obvious. I would rework it's chin, it's not too attractive. A bit more square and less protruding, like the first drawing on the 4rd row.

    life drawing stuff

Here are some life drawings. Getting a good range of value seems to be difficult here. Like I'm just doing a monotone range instead of accenting with deep darks against a bright light.

    Some more Hogarth drapery studies
I find it curious as to how sometimes drapery reveals the form through perspective, anchor points, but sometimes hides the underlying form.

I was experimenting with different body types for populating a town full of people. I haven't figured out what clothes they'll be wearing yet...

Here's some stuff I did for a company's character design request. I don't think it has the same level of development as guild wars, but I tried.

Here's some more background studies that I started coloring
Damn, it looks like I'm too lazy to go beyond just rendering flat colors most of the time.
These things look like they need more texture and attention to light and shadow.

I like some of the most recent sketches, especially the ones on the bus. Very humerous, and lively with the colors. Seems like you do well with groups of people. Also, some great scenery and landscapes. Are those all places you've been, or from your mind?

Must of the background studies were from places I went, the other concept stuff was from my head. I find that I'm having trouble trying to get the same level of detail and perspective accuracy when I draw from imagingation. So maybe the solution is to use a mix of imagination and reference?

Anyways, here's some sequential art sketches from a short story I was thinking of:
Basically a government official makes some demmands of a local farming village, and our hero volunteers to
journey to the capital on behalf of the village.

I really like your anatomy studies and environments, especially the most recent one. The light through the orange trees has lots of potential to be beautiful. It seems different from most of your other color schemes which look a little bland and lifeless to me. Try working in more variation (like this one, which was very good - http://www.jerryartist.com/sketches/...ackground4.jpg).

You do have nice work, I love your scene renderings.
I agree that, while readable, your colored works could go much farther with the right contrast and drama.
