I sure don't get what's going on. Some large shapes have unknown purpose and the architecture is blurry. There's a chained knight but that's the only thing I understand.

define the edges of your stairs. The trapezoid things from the ceiling are confusing - are the tapestries or something? Color scheme's nice, I'd pull some of the textures back a little and pay more attention to the forms. And maybe photoref the armor - it's kinda flat.

    Nice start though

is this from Prince of Persia 3? it looks like a scene from it. anyways, i think you made too many things glow too much, and the architecture looks distorted, maybe straighten things out a bit. the colors are great, keep it up!

qitsune: It's the moment just before the execution, although i think the mood doesn't get communicated.. thanks

nonie: the trapezoid things from the ceiling are sort of metallic flags.I agree completely with your views..be around.

Geophillyx: I just had a scene in mind and illustrated it.I know there is too much glow and about the architecture.

    Thanks for the appreciation.

I like it, the gold and silver color scheme swirl and thicken as I notice the details you don't catch when only taking a glance at it. You should maybe sharpen the lines around the mosque-like arabian rooftops to improve the focus. I don't really see any distinct morgue/death/execution chamber qualities besides the two men. I see the blood - and the dirty sunlight filtering in from everywhere - but it needs something else. I recommend a guillotine or an axe somewhere on the image to enforce that sense. I hope any comments have helped.

    Keep doing you

    Thanks peter,

This is the concept for Ravana's Lanka, I am still painting it and know that there are a lot of problems with it.. but still cannot resist posting it for getting inputs.

    Red face

Hey Kewaley, i agree with the previous responses to your post.
on this last one you just put up: keep atmospheric temperature in mind when doing interiors/environments/ or anytime trying to excute a feeling of depth and space.
cool/cold colors recede and are pushed back and warm colors come foward. Trying implementing such tactics with this piece. everything appears to be on the same plane, either foreground, or midground.nothing seems to establish the space and distance that i think you intended for this piece. sharpen your edges for the the objects and structures closest to us, and fuzz em up on the structures further back.
    keep it up though.....

hey sush..great going..i like the second one better...nice and foggy...you can add more structures in the background to give it depth..and like someones said before..objects near the camera are crisp whereas objecs that are far away are blurry and dullish not saturated...keep it up!! ..
btw...did u use textures in the second one...?
