Lightbulb Photos from Majorca (Spain) (UPDATED again JUNE 11TH)

I'll be in Spain for the next two weeks, taking pictures a lot of the time. Already within the first few hours of my trip, I got some shots that I quite like:

I'll update the thread with new pics, as my trip progresses.

Nice shots... I like the first and the last one best ! ^^

But i have to ask... did you procces these pics?
I have bin interested in a Nikon D70s, the same cam that you are using.

So i would liked to know how the colours come out of the cam, i saw some test shots from a review site the other day and the colours were really ugly compared to the Canon 350D Olympus E-500 and Fujifilm S9500 >_<

    Thanks.

Yeah, the colours aren't very impressive RAW. I saturated them a bit.

I see.. nice job then ^^

But I figure that the colours can be personelised in the camera?
Does that give better results? : O

    Once again, very nice !
I like the black and white ones best : 3

That one with the nice is especially awesome !

It's also nice to see that you photograph certain people in different situations, it gives much realism to the whole, because spain is not totally made out of empty places : O it's nice to see normal people in there daily lives.

A nice escape from the typical tourist photo's

Some pics are insanly sharp ( in a positive way )
Is that crispyness out of the cam? :|

Thanks guys - glad to share my trip with you

Cypher - the sharpness is down to a number of factors:
    1: good lens
    2: good lighting
    3: good exposure
    4: good shutter speed

In some cases (namely the knife, the wheelbarrow and the window), they are even more defined because I combined the values (exposure) of two photos in order to create each of them.

Here are some more photos (from today). Sorry that they are so big. Had a great morning:

hi, i like your eye for nice color contrasts, like the first one or the guy in the blue-suit, and many others, too. But please change the name of the island, it is spelt Mallorca and spoken Majorca.

20 and 24 are the best so far.
20 could use some cropping, and cloning out those green leaves at the top to make it perfect.
