Do I have much of a chance getting into SVA?

    I have a little dillema.

I am going to be going into my sophmore year of highschool this fall, and if I am making any wrong descions, it'd be nice to know now. OKay, I want to get into SVA for photography when I do finally graduate. But I dont take any art classes. Case and point: I go to a little hick school. They offer over 10 classes on farming and shit, but only one on the arts, which teaches no photography. I'm going to be taking yearbook, since I can sorta work with it.

My grades are, okay. Like B-C average. I dont think I have ever failed a class, but I got a few D's.

My question is, is there anything I can do that can help me get into SVA, or is there anything that I'm doing wrong?

Work on your portfolio. That's the most important thing. If you can't do it in school, do it on your own time.
    And keep your grades up.

Elwell is so right. Don't let your school be the determiner of where you want your life to go. So what if you're from a small school? Talent isn't always cultivated from large cities. Take inventory of what you do have and run with that. Call up SVA and find out what it is you need and go from there.

    No more roadblocks!
