    very nice painting!
but the arm on our left is a bit distracting.
it seems to fade too much into the background and has too much blue on it.

also the cool area just to the left of the face and the shape it creates is taking attention away from the face.

Gorgeous brush strokes Lewiston... didnt know you got down with the traditional mediums... I do agree with MW's comment about the arm though... The face, goggles and extras look great though.. you should do more of these..

Very nice piece. I like it.
Just thinking that a little more light in the edge of the guys right arm might help it (or not... ).

really nice. i agree though that the arm on the left side (which is the right arm i guess) is a little distructing... leads the eye there and off the canvas

    hehehe, touche.
It's looking fantastic, there's a lot of character in that stare, plus it seems constructed with very economic brushstrokes, is there a chance you could post a larger, more frontal photo?

    Cheers

Thanks for all the replies. I know - I kind of pussed out on the left arm. The (missing) ear isn't a a masterpiece as well though...
It was meant to be a one-day painting and afte 7 hours the time was up (lame excuse?)...
However - here is a closer look at it...

This is so awesome. I started a traditional piece yesterday, and I just can't get the hang of the paints, plus my canvas is so scratchy, it bugs me. Wish I could oil paint like that! Good work man.

EDIT - But why sit the painting on your wacom? hehe..
