Finally DSL is available out in the boonies where I live these days so I'm officially on Xbox Live finally. It'd be great to play with you guys as someone said earlier... all the youngin'z can be quite annoying.

So I'm not really a Halo fan as I the more gritty shooters like the WW2 variety and the hyped up gore fest, Gears...

But I saw some videos poppin' up around the net for Halo 3 and I wasn't really impressed with what I saw. IMO the new Unreal Tournament would easily lay waste to Halo 3 with the look I got. (Be it a limited one). Thoughts? I just have this impression that when the Halo guys at Bungie saw Gear come out they crapped themselves. I don't know Halo will out due Gears visually. I mean you'll have the hardcore Halo guys there but.... I dunno. Maybe I just never caught on to it or something. Maybe there's another draw to Halo that I'm missing.

Please fire away. Unless of course this isn't the thread for this... I was just sharing some thoughts.

man ever since i got my 360 this summer it's been the best console i've owned, i still love my dreamcast...besides having xbox is a great alternative if your fed up with pc games and the investment required to play the games.
360 makes it so much easier.

but anyways all i got right now to play online is halo 2, gears of war, forza 2.
i also have bioshock, man they really should have added a multiplayer section it, multiplayer in bioshock would be so awesome.

anyone beat gears of war on insane?

haha, yeah i'm mad good at gears of war. great game it is.
i've tried rainbow six, it's cool what you can do in it. but right now i'm only using the cash to spare for OrangeBox. i can't wait to play team fortress 2.

oh and about halo 3, i think i'll get that later.

but yeah, xbox live does keep you playing.
