nice!
nice!
Nice sb! I like your colours, the blue's contrasting with the reds is really coolll
those envionments are awesome!
oh, and i think you missed the blues, r & b and/or hip hop options, 'cause those would have been my choice xP
Got another update. Thanks for all the comments guys, i really appreciate them. This painting was done during another of the conceptart.org workshops on environments. It took place today, and was with Whit Brachna. I seem to listen better while i'm doodling, so here's what i ended up with.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. hehe you were also drawing while listening to Whit?
I think its ok, but abit monochromo and heavy on the right, knocking it down a value step or two would help in my opinion.
Really wonderful River Environment from the other page. I like how you've limited your colors so that the red girls stands out.

Yo dude ! crazy enviro ! I also find it's a bit heavy on the right, try to check the balance ! Anyway, good stuff ! Keep it up !
Saw you and chromosome (ryan lang) linked up on John Nevarez's blog. Very Cool. Paintings are very solid in here also. Good Stuff.
Jorge Gecov: Your english is just fine! thanks, yea i prefer rocks, vegitation and organic environments to environments involving architecture. I know perspective and all that jazz, but gravitate toward natural stuff like the below image. I tend to over render architecture, and get too caught up in the shapes, and the cool thing about natural environments is you can kind of cut loose. Anyway, thanks for stopping in.
Sourgasm: Thanks for pointing that out. I might go back and really figure out what the hell i'm trying to do with my lighting. Im not really sure what was happening in that one, sometimes i just like to splash light and color around and see what happens.
Luness- Thanks man, i love your sketchbook by the way, your creatures rock.
xbrianx- Gracias! there will be many more brush-y sketches, i'm making myself use them more and more.
Alexkrill - Thanks! I'll have to make time for more.
Wiggles - Thankyou. Im glad you like that guy. I might have to revisit him someday when i start divin into characters again.
Mr.Juicy: Thanks
SnobbyOo: Thanks, More on the way!
Mock : Thanks! yea thats one of my favorite things to do is splash color around and try to be a bit fearless with it. Its fun.
VogelA: Thankyou.
Walid D: Thanks very much! more on the way.
XbrianX: Two replies in one message from me it seems. I should probably reply to comments more often. As far as that character, i should probably put more work into him.. meh... maybe. Anyway, Thanks again for stopping by!
dU5K: I am Man, but usually play female avatars when i play MMORPGs, if that even matters, lol. Thanks for the kind words, i'll definitely keep at it. Cheers'
Pigeonkill: Thats actually a really cool idea. Like turn day into night or summer into fall...i'll definitely keep that idea on the backburner.
EllE IS: Haha, thanks!
MacTire: That was actually exactly what it looked like in the picture, it was like it was cut with a knife where the two values met, i thought it was a bit surprising too.
Chupacabra: Thanks dude, right back at ya. Your stuff is rockin'
Silvenon: Thanks. Yea, i do love myself some brain dumps. Experimentation is the best part; u never know what you'll end up with or stumble upon.
Finn Diesel: Thanks! Those are great points you make actually. I probably should work some of these up more. I dont like to commit to them too much though, most of the stuff in here i only work on until my attentionspan drifts and hopefully i have something decent to post. But i see what you're sayin; i should make some light and bird brushes now that u mention it...
Jackpot_anjr90: Thanks! yea, i need to get back into characters. I'll dive back in sooner or later.
Mischeviouslittleelf: Thanks! definitely will
Jaro: Thanks! yea that was a fun one to work on
Xupernova: Thanks! more on the way.
Du5k- Thanks again
Eparts: haha, me too. I can almost feel the cold damp air and smell the heavy fungal, moldy odor of the place.
_Moth_ : Thanks
AKIRA Wrong: Also thanks!
Corza334- Thanks! yea i love myself some contrasty blues. I probably overuse them a bit too much.
Muscari - Thanks! yea, that pole is about 2 years old, and i made it in about 5 minutes. I wish i could go back and edit it.
Wasker: Hah, yep. I have to be drawing something to process information usually. I really do think i'll head back and knock that heavy side down a bit, i didn't even notice till you said something. Thanks very much.
Jason Snair: Thanks!
Swordhand: thanks and Thanks!! you are the only person on conceptart.org who noticed. Tis much appreciated.
Walid D: Same as what i mentioned to wasker. i saw what you guys said and yall are definitely right. That heavy side needs to be beaten down.
Bill: Thanks for the heads up. I googled John Nevarez after i read your msg and found a ton of cool blogs. Cheers'
And...
here's another doodle which started with me playing around with someone elses brush sets, then i just started experimenting with color, playing with shapes and smears, etc. This is the result:

I have only looked through half your SB so far...I'm impressed! Your work is very inspiring. Thanks for posting.
Another quick update, just keeping giving the ol' sketchbook some love. This one was very very fast, done with painter, then finished in photoshop.
