it seems like less than a month. which is not cool. does anyone know of any other site that let's you upload images and link to it?

Wha? I have year old pics & they are still up. Shack is better hosting higher res than bucket. Photobucket says 1 meg max limit for the regular user (free use), but from my experience they start chopping at around 700k. FileLodge is nice too, but seems a bit buggy at timee, though it lets you host even 50Meg big files.
