Automatically 300dpi by starting a new image in photshop

Hi all! I have a question, I want to know if there is a plugin or a function for photoshop which automatically set every dpi of every new file up to 300 or more. I mostly forgot to type in more dpi and have to start new if I need 300dpi for my image

I hope someone can help me! Thanks !

if I hit Ctrl+N in photoshop.... and set the canvas and dpi... photoshop remembers those details each time I launch a new document. No need for a function key for me! .. However you could set up an 'action' which'll allow you to switch easily between canvas dimensions.
