    Red face first oil painting!

my first ever experiment with oil paints on canvas. the monster is my own, and manifested from my head while in a period of strif and stress. the whole prosess was rather thereputic for me, and turned into something i would do to loosen up. this was done with no references, tutorials, tips, or anything else. this is all me just winging it, and going with it.

Not too shabby for a first time! B&W is a good way to become familiar with the properties of the medium. I'd really like to see how you do with full color! BTW, is that a photoshop background???

good work for first try, although i just want to point out that the horn usually is a bit bigger at the "root" but it looks really tiny and small. if that is intentional i dont know though also it looks a bit flat 0_o but else its pretty neat
