Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just paranoid?
I actually doubt that anyone is doing quite the same thing as me, but I guess I wouldn't be too surprised with so many warriors in the ring. Waste of time if you ask me, because I'm still doing it better

I just watched my 3rd Rocky movie since the match was announced.

    poor sharks.....

actually in the idea arena..... a newborn baby... a first kiss... graduation ...any hallmark moment in a human life can be the begining of the end. or the end of the begining for that matter. you don't actually have to portray the opening salvos of the apocalypse// although that could be cool too. but one can mine the fantasy or Scifi realms too if you like. a space ship landing on a planet, the begining of the end of the alien civilization. The guy surfing on the tidal wave that is about to cover LA (Lucifer's Hammer) . a hobbit throwing a ring into a volcano....no wait it's been done.....so since Im no ton the list (miss the deadline due to cowardice and innnattaention. any and all ideas I throw out there are up for grabs.....)

and ilaekae....no little pleated skirt, atm a fleece bathrobe and a cuppa coffee.

Alright. I have my topic/subject/comp whatever.
    However, I have one question:
does this have to be Welcome to the Beginning of the End,
or can it be just The Beginning of the End?

    Mr. 9? Bueller? Anyone?

I hwas wondering, do we have to post a description, especially with that "welcome" in there, makes it alittle difficult and there will be many different inpterpitations of it. Or are we to assume that everyone will put it in there, or should we only worry about making our pieces wicked kick ass?

I think if done right, a description is not necessary. The image should speak for itself.

Hey, Carnifex. Chaos is female. How many times has this happened. I think you need an avatar, Chaos. In your cheer leading robe will be nice. Fortunately none of the her ideas matched mine, so I'm all good. That's still not gonna stop the fact that I'm gonna get stomped though.

Urgh, I have a similar story, certainly not as bad though - the school was wonderful enough to throw out all unsold works after the student exhibition. No warning. Iirc I was threatened with a detention and told not to be so confrontational when I objected to how things were done.
