Looks good, you might want to be careful with the traditional colors so they wont get muddy.

This is here is a set of thumbnails, i'm trying to explore on a set of illustrations with a narrative logic and a illlustrationish look to them. I'm most probably not done exploring yet, so if you have any feedback on what you see here, please share.

normally i dont like pinup paintings either really, the elaborate signature and every little thing rendered to fuck, its like the girls are made out of wax, but yours are so fluid and with so much zing i love em all. id take any of your hundreds of beautiful 1 minute sketches over a 100 hour cheesecake chick with stupid fucking rabbit ears any day of the week.

Quike: I'm holding the angels in the bay for a sec because cliché x 10, and i've started on something depicting the battle of the sexes. You might be interested in the working title
NeonPowererFirefly:You're one to say! You're totally brilliant!
Spudonky: Thanks man, i was worrying about that tbh.
VK: YEah still, it's got a groove to it from time to time, but one thing's always irked me is how it's always the individual trumpet/sax/drum/vibrafuckingphone player that gets the fame, when i can't even tell one trumpet/sax/drum/vibrafuckingphone player apart from the other. Let's just stick to psychedelica right? And about the bunny ears: c'mon man, they'r'e so cute!
ATP: Talk about coming from far: if you want a good laugh check out my old elfwood account .
I was so busy trying to be Yoshitaka Amano it never dawned that the heads were two sizes too big. Still would give a lot to be able draw so naïevely again.
kevin: Thanks dude, you keep it up too!

OK, so this is the thing i'm working on. Think it could be good, but i'm at a crossroads with it and i don't know where to turn. All shapes and rendering, keep the linework (in which i case i should redo it cause it's too stiff an has bad lineweight variation) or something completely different. YOu tell me. No, i mean seriously, input is very much appreciated. Any kind, don't be shy.

Hullo again, i really like purple boss badass guy from page before, getting good vibes from all your watercolour experiments and other as well. Girl with a sword upper this page isinteresting character, but now to the beef:

Really dig those illustrational graphic thumbnails, very graphical, stylish and good looking! you have bold contrast there what you don't usually have that much and it is working, those thumbnails are almost finished images! my favourite is night scene with monsters around hero.

About your latest image, really like idea!
But how to make it groove? i honestly feel it doesn't matter whether it will be analog, watercolour/quaches and linework or completely digital with lines painted over.

It doesn't matter, i feel you are asking wrong question.

The right question is in your graphic thumbnails, the question is How you can stack up your values together as shapes so that the image has strong composition?

Think about it, technique does not matter as long you have stronger Black&white values underneath your colours, you can check this by desaturating your image. I feel that is what is missing from your image right now.

Hope any of this might help

Quike: I was afraid you were going to say that :p
VK, Fallenangel: Hope you don't mind me lumping your 2 comments together. I'm okay with four stars, it doesn(t matter in the grand scheme of things (okay i was a little pissed of at first). The question that begs to be asked tho: what does make a 5 star sketchbook. Opinions vary obviously, but i would be interested to find out how to get that start if it will entice me into becoming an even more awesome artist. So spill it!
Nettle: I thank you for this brother, very good advice as always! I've rebuilt the pic from the ground up and i've tried to take the value compo into account.
rumpenstiltzkin: Hey there, long time no read! i hope to have that pic done sometime, i'm starting to get a good feeling about being able to do that!
    Gpozzo: Thanks a lot man!

So i changed a lot about that last picture, there was too much stuff not working. As always, any input is muc appreciated.
    Also, there's some doodlish stuff.

It shows that you know your colors in the illustration. I really like the look that I think you're going for with a clear difference between the foreground and the further away focal point, seperated by the contrast between the deep purple shadows on the girls and the light values of the boys and the pantie. Reminds me a bit of the works by the awesome illustrator Tomioka jiro. Could turn out stunningly good if you put your soul in it.

The following sketch is awkward because the right eye is too big and too low according to the perspective you have drawn the rest of the girl in. Also her hands are too small, but you probably know all of that. It's just a sketch.

I couldn't contain myself. I'ts not quite your style, but I hope you don't mind.
