    Call0ps: Thank you Always pushing!
MattGamer: You too mate Looking forward to your entry! Hope we will rawk!
FactorZero: Hmm gotta do some variations first.
Punchy: Hee hee thank you! I like plants, but it's tricky to get a good technique to paint them.
Blue Severin: Eeeeek I will.... I hope...
Fishspawn: >_< Sorry Wes!!! I promise to get things moving again!

Well guys, long time no update... because.... well I had end of university approaching and I ended up starting working at the same time XD, so I've had some really hectic time of finishing my last assignments while working full hours. Life is settling down now since I've graduated, but I don't have much time any more for personal work, and I can't show what I've been doing (hopefully some time in future, has been very fun and INCREDIBLE!).

I must thank all of you guys for helping me in my journey! All those people that have motivated me to keep pushing forward (fellow CA people! Friends and Loved ones ! )

Well, sorry for the long read, finished my animu so now I can start on a new canvas and get some work flowin!

Well, here is the Final EOW#72 The Cathedral Of Lilith

Still lots of things to fix, so I'll probably slowly work things up.

i think i imagined it to be a lot cooler in tones...i think the orange kind of killed the mood that the b/w had. but that's just my opinion ^^

so what do you do at your job?

    Fishspawn: Thanks bud!

Well... haven't updated in a while again, not much personal work as of late (working on LMS entry slowly).

This is a quick from life paint I did, was very hard and got pwnd - so I should do more . (feed back really appreciated, need to improve - so no asspats )

Hey man, been a while since I've posted. I was hanging out with Nate in Seattle, good times. Here's a great link to lighting info http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=112049. On the shape, in perspective the top ellipse would be shallower curved than the bottom ellipse, and the side nearer you more curved than the side away from you. The fact that both of these perspective tricks are exaggerated opposite to what they should be, it makes it look a bit flat. Can't wait to see the LMS.

Blue Severin: Thank you for the feedback Sev! I've been rereading that site, fair bit to swallow and understand - but lots of valuable stuff!
Justin Oaksford: Nice to hear you like my enviros, I haven't done anatomy life drawing for a while though... the group I usually attend hasn't started yet .
Flaskpost: Wow thank you... I'm still a such a n00b though haha.
Punchy: Hey, long time no see!
Té-Can: Thank you, I'll try to update more now that LMS is over. Not much time for personal stuff anymore.

Well here is my LMS entry. Though it's already in, I'd love to hear some crits and feedback to keep in mind and learn from for future. So dig in and thank you in advance !

Got here, looked your stuff from first post and you have improved, really improved

About yor latest lms entry, i really like quality of the picture, characters, colours and sense of wholeness between elements. Only nitpicking would be a little center fixedness of composition. By this i mean there is same amount of negative space between giants left and right sides.

You could make it more dynamic by making that negative space more random, now it is 50/50 % between sides, maybe 30/70 % ?
Like adding some backround to the left?

    Just a suggestion...

yeah hot sauce!! that's awesome man. love the last two. the cathedral has a great feel to it. and the LMS is really dynamic i think you could just crop it and it would fix the composition but it's still great.

Some updates, guys I need crits, cold hard crits to get better Cheers! I also updated my website, so for those that have visited it before what do you think of the changes?

An old factory of sorts in a jungle place, I'll probably follow on and do some close up pieces or something from same universe.

Finally got my stuff together and took part in EOW. This one is for EOW81 - Abandoned space station. I think the lighting on the space guys is a bit lacking - maybe make them darker behind and brighter on highlights?

WOW the first environ looks superb and the white birds really give it a nice touch.

on the second i might add some more colors into the orange...for some reason it doesn't feel quite right to me. also the astronauts kind of stick out because they're so crisp, maybe add soem more detail in the foreground of the space station.

    great job!

Really love the EOW one, great lighting and composition.
Instead of throwing crits, I would love to give compliment more. Yet it is true that I couldn't think of a thing to criticize on. I don't think it needs to be darken more in the foreground, for me it should perform foggy in a strong light source environment due the reflection.

    Great job!!

Hey rayk, these are looking great. I love how you're playing with edges and transparency.

WIth the first one i'd say the values on the structure in the background are too splotchy. Since it's a flat surface the value should be more uniform and definitely blended a little softer. Also with the pillar-like structures on the left - the third one is too close to the second one. If you mean to place them unevenly like that you should make it more obvious somehow. Also I like what's going on at the bottom but I can't really make out what it is. A little more clarity, even if it was just on one of the shapes, would help out there. I really like it, and as hp said the white birds are great!

Second one is cool too but less interesting. With the two guys I'd say they look pretty far apart and you're not indicating that with value. The spaceship beneath them transitions pretty evenly, but the two guys are the same, so just make the back one a little darker. I also think more color or detail in the sky would help. Check out this site for pictures from space: http://hubblesite.org/gallery/album/nebula_collection/ - It's quite colorful.

Also, both of these are dark and desaturated! What happened to the bright colors you used to use? I'd like to see you try something like that again with your new knowledge.

Great job on both of these, I'd like to see you post more often! I've been working on enviros a lot lately, you should stop by and leave me some crits, I'm sure you could think of plenty

hp Thanks you! Yeah, I think that's the problem with most of my work - lack of detail. Thanks for the crit !
    iamgale Thank you
Fishspawn Thank you Wes, nice feedback. I'll try to correct those out and update them on my site.

In regards to the first one I think the value drop between the last post and structure thing is too sharp hence why it looks out of place. The perspective seems to be fine (even though I initially eyeballed it). I'll pop into your sketchbook for sure (sorry sorry again bud)
