The mood in "Her Scent" is so dreamlike/nostalgic. It's beautiful.

Lovin it man... you got a lovely painting style in the GA pic and the expressions. If you want an awesome source for facial expressions, have a look at making comics by scott mcleod. It breaks them down into 6 basic expressions and how combining them helps... never seen expression explained so well!

Keep painting man, Miss ya down in kangaroo land

GREAT life-drawings man, they absolutely rock.
have you looked at hogarth recently? the forms in the character sketch remind me a bit hehe

the painting is a killer, I like it a lot. very dramatic and moody lighting, and with looking from directly behind the protagonist the viewer is immediately part of the story. Win.

    cheers khan

Beautiful work on those sketches Kan! Loving the pencil work!
Excellent work on the paintings also, esp the unmasked Big Daddy and Cleveland, great likeness with the realistic approach.

    Thanks for sharing!!

richart: thanks, but lately I am trying to get more definition in my work.

Strela: Who says you can't give crits? Of course you can! If you don't like something, just say it, I like to know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks a lot.

crazy3dman: Thanks very much, it really received good crits and I'm glad for it

Texahol: Ok then, I am just glad I damaged you somehow

The DirtySyndicate: Think so? Really? I always feel like a hamster in the wheel.. Thank you.

Hive_minD: Cheers Chris, you're getting better and better.

    dessinateurimpulsif: Haha, wow. Thanks!

smokenmirrors: Ha, good point, it IS!! Thanks for dropping by.

    JustinBeckett: Thanks Justin!

aadi: Thank you very much, more work is coming here

llex paul: Thanks! As for the process, I used Corel Painter only. It was variable flat oil and blender bristle for blending. Took me ages, though..

GunTrouver: Glad you like the old Cleveland!

    theUNKNOWNsketcher: Haha, more coming.

marika: Thanks a lot, means much to me.

bandaidboy12: Thank you very much, that was exactly what I tried to achieve. Me happy.

sketchling: KIM!!!! Man, I am missing those sketching sessions with you guys, big time. Hope you are well, my dear friend.

MatejaPetkovic: Thank you very, very much. Yeah, TWO BAFTAS!!!!!!!!!! Zivio, buraz!

Huey Yeng: Thanks very much, glad you like it!

Darkside: Hey buddy, how are you? Thanks very much for praise.. Don't deserve it though No, I haven't touched Hogarth in ages, def. need to.

Texahol: We both know I am a hack.. But I am trying hard And yes, you can have a bed and I'll put something in your drink to make you sleep very well. Who knows, maybe I'll do some nasty stuff to you while you're asleep and film it all on tape.

llex paul: thanks! I think, nothing beats a good pencil drawing. But, I am soooooo far away from the point where my pencils would be considered good..

MacTire: C'mon.. Really? Thanks a million.

Jasper: Cheers Jasper, great to hear that and really to have you as a guest in here.

    Ok,

Lately, I get more and more into the "drawing" side of things. Whit Brachna gave me some incredibly valuable feedback and I realized that I can't hide behind messy strokes but need to define forms and shapes better. So what I do is, I just draw whatever the fuck is in front of me.
It turns out to be so hard, that I really don't want to show this low-quality pages but then again, it's about learning and progressing and that's why I post in here.
Also, I made a few thumbnail sketches for this week's EOW. Please let me know what do you think, guys.
    Thanks for dropping by,
    Kan
