Sweet drawing surfacemonkey, great way to kick off the thread. I really like the rendering of the metallic surface on the bike. I've gotta say, something about the human's pose (especially how he's holding the cigarette) looks a little more girly than gritty to me (not that there's anything wrong with that).

mahsroh - that sure is a tough first meeting with your double! that's funny $h#t. love the concept. would be nice to see a few touches on the victor to indicate that he is the bionic imposter.
machzero - great sketch. good poses, lots of action.
surfacemonkey - sweet rendering. is that painter?

B.merry, Thanks! Yeah his pose is a little funny.. I wanted to have him relaxed and holding a cigarette, i'm gonna find a reference and fix it.

SilliKONE, Thanks man. I'm using painter IX and PS.

cool concepts guys. I'd also like the see the shotgun robot with more detail.

Very nice goran, great detail and smooth shading, only thing that's a bit off is the top exhaust thrust on the big ship. It seems to be going in a wierd angle concidering how the engine is pointed.

His genes stolen by someone from inside his team, and a genetic clone artificially grown up and bionicly engineered, Rough McSkie now finds himself in the race of his life, trying his best to stay ahead of his mirror image.

After a long day at the track, Jack Random stopped by the Burger Hut for a value meal. In the drive-thru, he felt as though he was looking in a mirror; perhaps at what he could well have become, had things gone differently...

Aga: Very dynamic figures there. I love the lighting and the Excite-Bike-ness of it all. I would also suggest, however, that the geometric landscape is drawing from the piece's focus, maybe if you put as much of an extreme perspective on the landscape as on the figures (which works well) or cropped more, it would be especially nice.
Also, great contributions from SurfaceMonkey, MachZero (love the gritty excitement) and Sillikone.
I wish I had done this ...stupid finals
