The Squid Reaper

Hello All,

I've been secretly lurking around here for a few years now and I thought it was high time I post something.

My current project is a re-envisioning of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Of course, Death plays a part in the story but I didn't want to fall into the same old look of your basic grim reaper with the skull and cloak and all that.

I tried several variations before I fell upon this. In keeping with the nautical theme, I thought maybe Death could be wearing a hood that mimics a squid.
