Ooh, I'm leaning towards the greener version, it makes the red pop. The bluer version just looks sort of dead, it might be the purple tones it gets, I'm not too sure.
I love your stuff, dude.![]()
Green for the love of god green, it's awesome. Perhaps blue rain or water somewhere if you still need a cool colour?
Level 4 Gladiator: Meridiani
the green and red looks like a better colour choice to me, I like how your style has evolved, you seem to have lighting that really focuses on the important areas and fades off into the rest of the picture, is this something you would recommend other people trying?
Whoa, man. Your environments blow me the hell away. The colors are, pretty badass to put it simply. Keep posting~
WOW skillfull really really cool man you just keep killing your doing a really awesome job
keep at it
the blue one
Green!
in the green one, the colors on the skin are still mixing with the green, making it look more believable, and i think you should still play that up. Besides, green and red are compliments, usually, a very contrasting color scheme, but works none the less.
the blue one reads almost monotone, because most of the skin color is lost in the shades of blue.
remember your core shadows! and also be careful on your rim lighting because it tends to flatten things out, such as his wrist. You seem to have 3 lightsources in this picture, the green back lighting, an orange rim lighting, and the main light coming from the front giving the form of his muscles. the rim lighting and back lighting should be handled the same way as your main light, it is a lightsource afterall! by just putting line on the rim (such as the wrist or leg) it flattens it out not making it a beilevable lightsource. give some form to that light! let it wrap around the wrist or leg.
here i took this picture of myself, to show you:
that's just my two cents, but you know i still love itgotta be better than the rest!

Your last one looks very daring, the face is good , the expression and all the muscles are in the right place but one thing. The muscles of the trunk and arm , they are like they don't have any skin full blown muscle detail , even if they contract they don't show so much detail. The veins are to pumped even if they are rushing with mad blood in a moment of max adrenaline they will show not as a continuous line but as signs of bumpy sin , and when the atmosphere is darker they barley show any difference in color. The first two colors you chose are good the transition between the two contrasting colors . But in the second , looks more like a club scene , where you adopt the lights that reflect on you . Where is blue and red ... you could've used some orange on the skin and some hints of green where there are contrasting shadows on the body and where the bone meets the skin. Oh forgot , the Trapezium is humangus .
TotesHerz: mmm, me too, thanks!
Smoke: maybe... thanks!
GDonaldson: do whatever works for what youre goin for, I tend to not really think when i draw these... mainly instincts of what i think will look cool I guess. Go with whatever you like, mood and all that. Thanks!
Suira: thanks, I kinda liked it too, but I think the other one pops more.
Danuh: thanks!
lilnebo: thanks man
midknight523: oops
Mitchell: man, thats some good stuff. nice portrait, did you mom take it? ran with it
flamable: ah yea, I wasnt really going for realistic, more ridiculous in an illustrative way rather than portrayin a real dude. For my comic 'Thrash til Death' that I'm developing so i kinda want everything to be way over the top. Thanks though, I appreciate the help.
finished? idk probably 4 hours, friggin tablet kept just not working, had to restart 4 times.

Last one is mindblowing! Especially the greenish version... seems more evil haha![]()
Gotta say that last one is looking great! I realise that the head is supposed to coming towards us, but still, it looks a little big. Minor issue, but none the less (it might just be me by the way, don't take it too seriously). The color scheme is nice.![]()
Great update as usual, keep up the fight

Ooh, it came out really great. I'm digging the textures plus the nice green/red contrasts. The rim lighting turned out good too, it's got a nice soft glow to it.![]()
