Agreeeed, could you maybe perhaps share your thoughts about lighting and colour? I'm sure doing a mega-amount of studies would help, but your colours
seem very unique and very effectively executed. I could also just make
studies of your art. =D But it would very much help if you could share some
advice, and maybe a process batch of the image..

Again, killer sketchbook. I'd love to see some more of those action scenes you had! Have a nice birthday!

about color im pretty sure someone will repply something about color theory that is gonna enlight me but so far I think about those lizards:

-sorry for the grumpy english speech that im gonna engage-
the shapes are cool, the pose is dynamic and the anathomy is correct but lighting and colors are taking the protagonism for a couple of reasons imo
Both color and lighting there are based in a two-two pattern, both lizards have a soft light coming from one side creating a soft volume and a "counter-light" from the other side that is creating a sharp plane separation
and the same thingy happens with colors, on the last lizard is more obvious green based colors for the volume and the skin tone and blue (which is one of the colors that forms green) is the tone from the "counter-light", no opposed colors where used which also help those images to be that friendly to the eyes
sorry if this made no sense, I just had to explain my thoughts about why I find this lizards so good

pd: also love the previous stuff, the "kid's book" style ilustrations, so simple yet so well done

Vigilandus: hmm, I'll do a video again soon. I dont really know color theory, I've always just kinda guessed on what looks good. I only really know complimentary colors. other than that I've just learned from seeing what other people and artists have done with colors
