I really like your designs, but I think you would probably benefit if you take some time to do some more studies either from life, refs or both.![]()

purplerose: Yup, definitely.
PJ:I thought I had responded to this, but I guess i forgot. Anyway, I do feel i take stuff from one drawing to the next, but I'm not really that consious about it. I can remember a few concrete examples when I've drawn something and remembered a previous drawing and copied it (not copied copied but... you know)you don't seem to take what you do from one to the other and that is a shame cause i certainly do not hope that you feel like you are relearning it with every drawing. it should feel like a progression.
I HATE transitions! LOL
I love the apples and the violin spotlight scene, they are both really well done!
The pose of the lady with the dress is not very exciting to my eye, but i like the folds on the dress. They give it body and make it look real. I also like the scene with the house and the graveyard. Keep it up man!
Wow... have been away from here for way too long. But, this is shaping up to be a very productive summer. My parents are going away for four weeks, and I'm left here to do what I want. Hopefully that means lots and lots of updates.
WIP:
The pose was reffed<-- **warning, nudity**. And the costume is obviously heavily Marko-inspired.
1. I didn't try to hide the feet! They just didn't fit/bad planning.
2. She's getting an eye and an eyebrow too, I just wanted to show it before I messed it up.
Tried to finish it more this time. Less sketch, More proper drawing.
Elloh there guvnuh
Female forms seems to be getting really solid. Look a liiitle stiff and regulated though at times, try to cut loose with some flowy, curvy lines (at least for initial workup) as it could help make the final figure look a little more lady-like.
Keep 'er up![]()
nice character designs, looks like you;re putting a lot of thought into them
eazym: Thanks. I definitely try to.
Moleskine smells funny
