Texahol- Thanks man, I'll probably start doing some more full pieces and studies. I really should stop this long term break and start making some progress again...
Cwn- I wish my wacom was working . I got a value study coming up soon enough though.
Amontillado- Yeah, that's a good point. I dunno why ears are so troubling for me...
    Sealegs- Thanks!
    Evil- Thanks man.
Teh Gosu- Yeah, I've been trying to keep that and still loosen it up a bit... Thanks.
Some more sketches, unless something goes horribly wrong ala hurricane or apocalypse, I'll have some gestures and a value study in the near future.

Welp, after trying to do gestures I realized how bad I am at them and now I'm going to completely go from scratch and restart anatomy completely. Another quick update.

great stuff, your hatching is really mature, are you using other artists as reference when doing those though? they remind me a lot of lungbug.

i would like to see you take things more serious and produce more often, especially by doing some studies.

you have a lot of potential, but i'm not seeing you really strive for it.

You little ginger minx, don't waste it! Beautiful fluid lines...would love to see yourself pushing harder. I can only dream of weilding a pencil like that with my ham fists.

Here's some reffed portraits. If they look remotely correct, rest assured that they look nothing like the reference.

As always, beautiful stylisation. Just watch for the placement of facial features (mouths and eyes drifting off place)...would love to see you try and play with stronger/darker hatching. That would really make your pieces 'pop'.

    Youuu caan dooo eeet!

Cwn- Yeah, some of the placement is really off.
In order to try and remedy that and practice ref a bit, I did a few more portraits. All reffed except for the page of shitty torsos.
