Cool sketchesI like the impressionistic strokes most. They indicate quite alot to say they are so loose.

These are great! Keep posting!
Cool new picsJust wondering andreas, Is this how you start the majority of your characters, or do you use some reference prior to designing?

Thanks, Tao. Nope...to both questions...These are just practicing sketches. I don't develop characters. And I don't use reference, but I definitely should. However, these sketches are done more for pleasure than anything else. Gestural paintings (if you can call them that) how little restrictions a no real intention.
Thanks, Drew.
Cool work, especially the first bunch of black&whites is nice
Good work and keep it up![]()

great work. the speedpaintings have such a nice feel to them, very moody.
especially like the first one with all its details, structures and colors! and the colorchoices of the second are amazing. keep it up.
Wow, really nice work on those quick environment paints. The colors are really fantastic. I really like the way light is working in both of them. I really like some of the textures and brush strokes you get in the second one. Are you using photoshop or painter? nice work! keep posting. I'd like to see alot more of those speed paintings
