I like where this is headed so far. Are you going to lose the black outlines as you move ahead? (oh, the head puns!)
Seriously, I like the serene expression on the fetus's face and the toony, twisted style of the limbs. Your shading is very warm and fetal, if anything, I would suggest tossing in some warm light lavendar shadows to play off of your skin tones.

i started a new one, and i'm going to post my progress as i draw it.

by the way, i know the bodies are slightly small, but i like it this way
