It depends on what you want to do:
If you want to show your original finished art and get feedback on it, post it in the "´it´s finally finished" section. I´d suggest that you write in what exactly you are looking for (eg. color, composition, overall impression...etc)
You may also be interested in showing your everyday stuff, studies and the like and get feedback on them. The go to the sketchbook section.
Read through the stickies of the sections to get the idea what´s it all about. It also prevents from doing something "wrong"
There are also some tutorials on colors and stuff like that.
Don´t forget to give feedback to the others as well. As it´s a thing about giving and receiving. Don´t forget that behind the posts there are always real persons, so be gentle.
Did I mention the stickies all ready...? ... ah, yes
Welcome to the boards!

This is an online forum with sub-forums for different things. Its main theme is conceptart/conceptdesign for the entertainment industry. You can post your work in some forums and others are for traditional drawing and painting learning and teaching.
Like johnny788 wrote. Just read the topics that are fixed at the top for information on the specific sub-forum or use the search function. It's the third from the left in the second (white) navigation bar on top of this whole forum.
The first navigation bar is an extension with more community features. It's still a bit work in progress so some don't work exactly as they should. You could try that once you know how to use the white navigation bar.
If the search function and forum FAQ's still leave you with questions then just ask. The lounge would probably be the best place for that if you are not sure whre to ask.
For the rest: Just read and get used to the community and start contributing if you want. That's it.
Show art, comment art....that's all!
thanks to all for advice, i think ill go look at some of the art![]()
