wow, these are really quite stunning. I think you've got an excellent understanding of light and shadow, as well as contrast. These are beautiful. Do you work from reference at all? What kind of inks do you use? Im just getting into ink wash myself, and I really love your style

Zebetron, you can use the "Higgins" brown ink.
Yes, all the previews drawing were done from references, DVD or books.
I'm trying to simplify my ligne drawing and limit the number of values as much as possible.
here in the new group of pictures, I could'nt resist to spend more time on the Tuareg's portrait.
The forest studies are old sketches done with gouache, on location.

Wow this is a nice sketchbook so far, everything lines up really well good proportions and the ink wash is the icing on the cake. Great job here I really don't have any crits, I'd like to see more of your figure work. Keep it up!!
