@lionheartGFX: Thanks for stopping by as always, I very much appreciate the support and am glad to hear when people are getting something out of this thread.
Some rendering practice. Did this super fast so the perspective is a bit off...

Your art is delicious
I really like the painting at the top, very pretty colors. All your work is very high level. You have a very good eye.
I never would believe that last one is "super-fast", please tell me it took you 5 days, which is about what it would take me. Is it partially 3d?
you did that "snow sniper" concept - it had been in my inspiration folder for at least a year, now I know who is responsible.
Subscribed. Thanks for sharing.
@Wholewheat_keyboard: Thank you for the compliments
The hallway picture took about 2-3 hours on and off, I was doing it between other things. There is no 3d base, it was all done with the lasso tool and keeping layers separate so I could use various brushes within those hard shapes. Using the lasso tool is very helpful for quickly creating certain types of images, especially geometric based things.
A spaceship- also about 3 hours-

@RyanRyan:
@kiichi: It's okay, I already know about all sorts of things I need to step up my game on!
@Xcarbon: Thanks!
@jhonshadow: Yes, I used photo textures from Mayang for parts of that. I sketched it out with the lasso tool and fills, roughed in the lighting, and added textures to those shapes, using layer selection to easily cut them to fit. Actually, if you look at the wall you can see two giant drywall screws... haha
@Setherial: Thanks for the kind words!
@Overtoom: Yeah, I was mostly messing with edges and textures on that one. I thought it was pretty useful; I feel like I learned something. A few "lost" edges, some sharp lasso-matted edges, some regular brushwork, some smudge brush "pushed paint" brushwork, some fine texture brushes, and a little sharpening filter on some areas to make them have more finish contrast against some other parts.
@jakubvavrik: Thanks, I am trying...
@n1frit: Thanks for stopping by!
Man pretty cool stuff you got here, you enviros especially are very impressive. Most of them carry a peaceful feel to them.
The few technical sketches you did before are slightly less good tho. I'd use perspective grids more and use the ellipse tools in PS to fix some of them like the car wheels.
Keep on putting stuff out for us to see!
My journey
“I’ve just neverbeen good at drawing _____, so I never draw ______.” This is a circular logic offailure that a person will never escape. If you wish you were better at drawing _______, draw it!
If you aren’t very good at _______, and avoid it, you’ll never getbetter at drawing _______! This attitude is setting yourself up for a lifetime of nevergetting good and enjoying _____.
@TomSeas: Yeah, vehicles are not my strong point... oh well, always more to learn!
