Question Digital drawings: Size and resolution?

    Photoshop CS2 - Digital drawings:

Curious what size and resolution [ppi] most pro digital drawings are done in? If 8.5x11, do they use 200, 300, or 400 ppi? Thanks.

I work on 300dpi CMYK, starting at about 800x800px and increasing the document in size as I add the detail.

300dpi - because I want the option to print, otherwise 72dpi is fine.

Acro has a good point with your pc slowing down, but if you do have a pretty good computer with a decent amount of RAM go big. 300dpi is always the standard I think for working if you ever consider printing your work. If you plan on just posting it on the internet though you can just go with 75 dpi. I tend to work itleast in the 1000-3000 pixel range. It all depends on the amount of detail you want to achieve.
