examples of proportion

for my sketchbook i am supposed to find examples of proportion in art. our teacher gave us examples like da vinci's renaissance man, a painting by goya a believe (the fat family one), something with a large fish and a small boat.

i need to find some other examples of artworks that art out of proportion, or the subjects are out of proportion, or it completely lacks proportion. any piece of known art with objects out of proportion would be great. thanks. ive been looking for about 3 hours now.

He has a HUGE head. Totally out of proportion.

But when you look at it from standing, because you are looking up and his head is a fair distance away, it looks perfectly in proportion.

But in actuality, it definatly isnt, to account for the perspective effect when viewed from below.

speaking of sculpture and porportions, check some of Rodin's work. He cheated his proportions for various reasons. Some say because he was accused of having too perfect proportions (?!?!?) and cheated with casted bodies, thus he decided to 'tweak' the proportions of his pieces. Another theory is that he changed the proportions to have an even more dramatic dynamism in his art. I prefer the second.
