skeletons for anatomy studies

Hey,
I finally got plenty of money from my crappy job to buy a skeleton for anatomical studies. Does anyone know where I can buy a good one for cheap? Maybe directly from a manufacturer somewhere?
I found some on anatomical.com this is one that I'm interested in:

I don't know if that's good enough quality though. How good of quality would an artist need, eh?
I'm wondering if I can get my old science teacher to get me a school discount I'm not counting on that.
Any suggestions and all that would be appreciatted

i actually got this skull form this company and it's pretty nice and worth the purchase.

the only thing i would say about it is i don't like it with the vertabrae cuz i can't move it around to as many angles as i would like...

on the other hand you get an good idea about how the vertabrae connect to the skull.

this was also the cheapest place i found, and it was also recommended by my current anatomy/figure instructor.

I don't know how accurate you need your skeleton reference to be, but I've found Poser to be excellent for creating reference poses - I don't use Poser to create subject matter for my pictures - just reference material, lighting, etc... The lastest version has a skeleton in it as well.

I've tried to order a skull and some other stuff from there and the shipment was twice that price of the merchandise - I’ve canceled the order.
How accurate should the skeleton be for drawing? I know that Andrew wouldn't settle for less then natural bone.
The point is that I somehow don't really want to disturb the sleep of the dead ones (not superstitious or so just... good faith). Maybe it's a different culture out there but here.. anyway, I'll prefer a replica. The bad part is that good replicas are very expensive.
So... Andrew (or anyone else) could you recommend anything?

Would Poser do for learning the skeleton?
I've been twice to the morgue of a hospital where it seems that is a guy who can deliver bones for money (it's illegal to have a natural skull here) but I didn’t found him - it was closed

Did you try Ebay, yet? I just recently had a similar thought and browsed ebay for skeletons. They had "Stan" the standard male skeleton issue for about 190$ - much less than 330!

oblio, that illegal thing scares me...

i have one cheapass skull around and (far more interesting) one badger skull and one fox skull.
i dunno here the human one is from as my parents bought it a while back.
the two animals are from a forest ranger who is a good friend.

in fact, i'd go for natural stuff, too. it's just the feel of the real thing.

I own one of these. They're about a 12 inches tall and have a decent amount of detail. Definitely enough to get your structure down and deduce the insertions and origins of muscles. Only 10 bucks...
