Seriously, that is pretty freakin awesome! I really enjoyed looking at this SB, I got hard even from looking only at the first page (I hope you didn't get that literally). The landscapes and the digitals in general are really to die for.

    Keep rocking!

Hey guys... I haven't responded well to anyone of you, and I find that to be arrogant, but it has mainly been of lazyness to be honest. I love the feedback, comments and critique.. thats why I post here.

so here are the replies to everyone of you!

AlexC: Thanks man, I 'sold' the finished piece :P he said it was ok to post the wip though.. am gonna post the finished one .. one day :)

    Dile: stop whining :O

Diphallia: I go under many names ;D haha , I will go kroki as soon as I can!

Algenpflenger, Indeed, I think i've solved everything now though.. my family is having my back for the moment, even though they
don't like the idea of not going to school..that well...:P

Mischeviouslittleelf: I'm 16 , not sure what grade that translates to in English / American systems , gymnasium in swedish ;)
    thanks!

zweidee: thanks!! yeah they were art teachers.. I still haven't got a good reason except they think i wouldn't be to dedicated to school even if i'd be allowed
to go to the art-program. heh

silvenon: thanks! I like weirdness ;)

lilnebo: hey! hehe thanks for always being motivating !

    verehin: thank you!

zelda_geek: yo! your sketchbook rock man.. very motivating for me to see that :)

Kian: Hey dood :D will do!

seth1 : haha thanks for letting me stomp on your foot ;D hope it didn't hurt that bad : O I was pretty furious !

Mattgamer : Hey buddy! Hope your doing well with your high coffein and energy : P
    and thanks !

Faust: I love you buddy ! I'm gonna buy a cast, I might do some bargue studies and spend that time on em' though.. I've already done a lot of value
work studies.. since everyone is more or less hinting that i suck at values :) I'll try to show my trad work someday though..
again, I can not thank you enough for your support!

Thesadpencil thanks man! I will try harder! practise practise practise!

    Zulu: thank you sir!

Sipher: yepp, i'm really trying to slow down and get my stuff right : /

Mikko_K: Hey , and thanks a lot for stopping by, I really like your work.. I took what you said to me, and i'm been working on what I call
the 'mikko assignment' since you said it.. if I'll be done, i'll post everything next week or so :) maybe sooner! its a really
good idea, also as faust said, to just focus on one thing at the time, that way you grow stronger and can perhaps compensate that with what you don't
know yet. Color is a huge field, so knowing value absolutely helps!
    Thanks for dropping in!

    Amernazri: Thanks!

Lilnebo: thanks :) I hope i make it as well. haha

Jedininjaman: glad to see you still kicking it:) I am drawing like a mothafu**er haha!

    Algenpflenger: thanks ;)

    Faust: :O

    Jordyskateboardy: thx man!

    Miles_ haha we'll see : O i'm colorblind you know ;D;D;D;D

Serpian: thanks man :D I really love your accent ;D and I will definitely try to get more finished !

Envisor: thanks man, I really need to hear that, haha I hope you do well sir!

Saa: thanks for dropping in, I like your work a lot! thanks for the encouragement!

    zelda_geek : haha my scanner aint working : O

A tua Mãe , thanks a lot! thats what i need to hear since everything you hear from family friends and school is that school is the big sht that will get you everything for free.. gargh : (

diphallia: whos sick here ;D the one with two penises, or the one dropping out of school ! i'm just kidding ;) thanks buddy

    hideyoshi: thank you sir!

call0ps: Hi buddy :] great times on vent ^^ keep working hard man, and thanks for your words.

zelda_geek, I'm not worthy of those stars.. haha I remember a year back when I complained about 3 stars : ( I realized lately that compared to the top stuff, my stuff is *maybe* average.

    Faust: thank you!

dmitri: I think your right, but going to an atelier for me, would be very good for my fundamental skills. I know how to take what I need and put it into my imaginary stuff, so
studying basics the way you do in an atelier would be .. perfect I think! its just about getting the right teachers, being in the right environment etc. If you don't get that stuff, it becomes
a bit like a block, and like I was told by Mischeviouslittleelf, a block is only there to keep people who doesn't want it bad enough out ;) if you got teachers you're unsatisfied with, get the
information you need on your own.. all people ain't good teachers, they might still have the skills .. Unlock secret paths, thats what I will try to do whatever happens to me :)
    thanks alot for dropping by!

Defiledvision: thanks man! that was what I was trying to get into.. but the school seemed very focused and that is why I am dissapointed.. I wasn't uber-impressed
by the results of the student-work.. but at least they got to do art and challenge themself everyday on stuff that they wouldn't otherwise even try. Cool stuff I think.
and sorry for your experience :P haha..btw you're sick for being just 18! I like your work a lot

    Miguelslo: thanks buddy

Faust: haha yeah..I rushed : O thanks again.. a lot for taking the time to write! you often make something 'click' for me.. hehe, good to have you sir !

    KingKostas: thanks sir!

    R&F: yeah.. thank you!

    SnobbyOo: thanks!

    HAJiME: haha thank you sir!

Miguelso: I'm glad you liked the first update I put a lot of effort into!

    Algenpflenger: thanks buddy :D

Pyrclasm00: thank you! Yeah I agree on the weapons! Will do more and think more of the edges.

Faust: Hehe ;) that means a lot coming from you man.. will think more of the presenation of my concepts :)

Miles_: thanks buddy, it means a lot!

    Jedininjaman: thank you!

Jordy: Hey buddy, thanks for your support haha !

    Lilnebo: thank you girl :D

Seth1: I didn't noticed it until after i turned the light off.. everything was to warm and red'ish.. thanks mate! Will make those studies different in the future. or at least not letting them glare
    or affect my monitor. hehe!

MattGamer: hi man, haha subliminal message ? haha you caught me.. there was one before I posted.. erased it out for being to gay ;D nah but really, there was at least a message :)

    king denver: thanks buddy!

    Mischeviouslittleelf: thank you sir :)

Markey2D: will try to provide you with more finished stuff ;D

Dished: hey!! Thanks a lot :)

    Silvenon: thank you sir !

    Dark_Eyes: thank you hehe

Thanks a lot everyone! heres a painting I tend to finish.. fun with textures ehh I haven't done a lot of figures in my environment work.. so this was a lot of fun thus far!

I had a dream about this guy
He was dressed in this super cool armor and had a weapon which looked a bit like a spear but much bigger on the end with alot more power.
He was bringing down a massive wall which ran half way though the world
I asked him "what are you doing crazy fo!" and he said "i am tearing down my this evil wall and i shall win!" and he did the wall fell and was destroyed.
After that I asked him "what is your name brave warrior" and he replied " my name is william but you may call me dennis".
Then I became friends with william he taught me the super powers of the fighting warriors and he went on to be the strongest warrior there ever was!
And then I woke up ate breakfast and opened my pc with a sketchbook in my hand. I opened the thread titled "diles speedies and popo" and pow! it hit me like lightining the dream made sense!
This is what it was all about! I saw that william really had taken down this evil wall! it was the wall in his mind. His art was dancing with the rainbow because it had reached a level so amazing it was impossiple!
Hahah that was fun lol! i know am crazy
    Anywayz as i said dudeeeeeeeeee!
    You've been improving like hell!
    Your new stuff is crazy
Your faces have improved sooooooo much
    3d work is looking amazing!
Colours and Enviroment are looking like superstars!
And the whole scene its just so awesome!
Keep going like this and the world has no hope! you gonne kill us all!
    keep on swaging bro!
Edit I want some pencils, pencils or die!

Awesome stuff. Like the sketchy essence to your paintings.

Maybe try to tighten up the guns though? They're a bit blurry.
    Other than that, great job!

Woah Dennis that gladiator on page 3 is pretty nice.
Gladiator helmets are friggin hot, i painted some lately... not gonna sue me,are u?

I enjoyed the last character sketch too, not to mention the ZBrush head!
I hardly ever care about Zbrush stuff but that one really caught my eye.
As weird as it might sound for a 3D image, i can really see an effort in term of "drawing".

So as to make this post a little more constructive:

Be careful with the relationship betwen the temperature of the light source and the one of the shadow, how do they meet/interact and what is the effect on the color of ur subject (mnot talkin'bout the silly Warm VS coooool theory).
What am i talking bout then?
    Er...nevermiiiiind!
    .

Just keep up the hard work!

The Zbrush head looks really solid. It could use some more depth in the nostrils though.

This head: It looks back of the head is coming towards us too much. I also think the back of the neck is pushed in too much. Try looking for a reference. And I think that the top loop of the ear is too thick.
    Keep up the postin'zzzz!

Hey Buddy, how're you doing? I see that you are orking the digitals but I hope you keep filling in those scetchbooks too Maybe you can work on your rendering in pencils to an extend that you dare to show us your results?

Anyway, I like the act that you are doing selfportraits, your faces need it, really. So much, in fact that I will do them too, I've been hiding myself too long from those.

our quick paintings are still a bit too quick in my opinion but on the other hand the have a certain you inside of them and maybe you could try to embrace that more to tighten up your work-habits. i mean you could make some paintings where you really concentrate on what you are doing stylistically and though I don't say you should settle for a style forcibly, you could get insights into your individual step-by-step approach and the little decisions you make. Just record some sessions of yours and rerun them later and th carefully your steps, I promise it can be very enlightening as to at what point you are rushing your painting and at which point you are being too stuck in the details. Judging your comments and critiques on other people's works (including mine) you do not lack the understanding of what must be done so why not concentrate on yourself for a while?

On that last piece, I did a little overpainting, since I am somewhat bothered with the composition and the vlaues of the face. The first is surely subjective and you don't have to subject to my opinion but I think your SP was lacking a clear structure and balance. It is very dynamic and there are certain trends in your brushwork that suggest main lines. Though, those lines are diagonal but not very thought out I think. I made some fast pointers as to what I think is what you were going to and did a bit of drag and paste and rotate as well as muting strokes oposite and strenghten strokes according to a more classical variant. By all means your painting isn't wrong but I just wanted to give you some food for thought.
The Vlaues on your face are, considering it's your focal point, not in enough contrast, since you use the same valuescale as in the background, making the image a bit flat. I upped the contrast a bit to show what I mean. Again those where just quick overpaints and I fear that you are on your way to become much better than me already

    Take care mate!
