just how much traffic is conceptart.org getting anyway? check this out.

Artist exposure is key for the community and below are some numbers which will give you an idea of how many people see the art here on the site. To put this in perspective, Cinefex Magazine has only 35000 subscribers every three months. Many other big magazines in print do not get this kind of traffic. Compared to some of the big websites like myspace, we are a drop in the bucket, but the traffic is focused on our niche. I think you should all be proud of what we have grown into.

this is vunderbar! thank you, thank you, thank you. i recently had an unclothed figure (a Lucy Westenra interpretation) removed from Image Shack with no warning, rather thought it a bit prudish. fewer such issues with CA, i imagine.

linking to the uploads will be restricted to CA display, correct?

Awesome stuff. It's been so cool seeing conceptart.org evolve over the years. It seems like so much potential is being realized and given the quality of the members, it'll be amazing to see where they take it. If you guys need any help you should let people know. I'd be willing to help out if you can think of anything.

try participating in the weekly activities, i think they get fair views, and it's a good place to build skills around working to a concept brief.

I don't think there really is a certain place to post to get noticed. Put out quality work and the attention will be given, I'm sure of it. Thank you Jason! You are the man! Almost like the ultimate talent agent. I knew there was a lot of traffic on this site but didn't realize it was that much! It's really hard to put into words how dope this is going to be.

the community activities and tdome are great for getting noticed...the main thing is to show a consistent level of quality over a range of subjects...also being a good person on the forums so you build a reputation as someone who works hard and is easy to get along with. thats why i get down so hard on peeps who troll the boards....if you are consistently showing good work in the finished sections or the community activities then you will be found.

for example...jason chan...he was discovered by mb here on CA. We had him in two days ago to interview. Same goes for steak, kei, wes, and many others. It isnt just mb tho. JPTargete found by ncsoft here on the boards, MCotie made his way to the industry through this site, and many many others...just gotta be hitting hard and keeping visibility high. Those who truly work hard and put their heart into their work will be noticed.

The new tech we are working will help as well. Thumbnails in the forums for the threads (ala cgtalk), a new mainpage incorporated into community.conceptart.org with member spotlights...and more.

    ALRIGHTY CHAN!

Manley, deepest respect. I have been working as hard as I can, I will even hopefully be doubling up on academics in my 3rd highschool year, which means instead of wasting my time in my senior year, I will graduate early and be able to attend Flynt's Atelier instead! Thank you... Thank you SO much. Type can't really express it =\ Sorry I won't get to thank you guys in person at the workshop either. I'm sure I'll see you all soon enough. Later >=D

The fact that you will be hosting our stuff tells me that it would be an 'investment' worth making.

Wow J! I remmember when you first told me about your idea to start this community! I too am proud of how CA has developed.

Your on your way to become one of the most influencial art educators of all time! Great staff, great school and great community!

    Keep it up!
