Thanks for the comments in my sketchbook. :-) You asked if I was considering plein air. . . your intuition is spot-on! Unfortunately my three attempts so far have been awful. Any advice?

I am still in love with your Valkyrie painting. It looks like a method taught by one of my college professors that I haven’t seen anywhere outside of his class: caran d’ache on masonite.

Post some more work here sometime, pretty please? ;-)

The Valkyrie Ascending in gray is so wonderfully bleak.

Much prefer it to the colour version.

I love the sketch book. You've been putting in work. Also, thanks for giving feedback on an older post I had on Captain Obama back in '09. I really appreciated that. I didn't realize you repled at the time I wasn't to familar with navigating CA forum at the time.
Since then I decided to go back to the basics(fundamentals)
